Good luck with your new camera. I also have a zv1. Bought it a few months ago for my CZcams channel. I love it. Check out the small rig cage also. Will allow you to mount the camera to tripod without blocking battery compartment. Zv1 rules. Thanks for great vid

I can see why you have that opinion! The iPhone 13 Pro max has a great quality camera and is great for beginners☺️ I will say that the Sony ZV1 shows the realistic color and quality of the shot. My skin appears much lighter and has more exposure in the iPhone compared to the Sony which shows the realistic color of my skin and background. Both options are great though👏🏽 Thanks for watching!!!
Ohhh wow thanks for your response! Didn't realize it was just the iphone. I've been researching which camera to buy to start my youtube. After watching so many videos I've come to the conclusion that the iphone or android smartphone is a great choice because the camera might die mid filming and overheat etc. I think I'll just get the latest smartphone to film on which I was looking to get regardless.

This was a great video. I had one question as I just bought a Sony VZ1 and am thoroughly enjoying it. My question is however, aside from using the built-in mic which is good, do you know how to adjust settings for a microphone. It looks like you have a shotgun microphone, and I’m using (or trying to) a Lav RODE w/ a 3.5inch adapter but can’t seem to get it to pick up when I plug it in? Any advice
I use it on different settings love but I mostly use Movie mode with product showcase on and focus on wide. I am still learning but thats what works for me😊!

Your Sony Zv1 can connect to other Sony microphones that silver dot thing in the "cold shoe" makes it a hot shoe.

I have same of your camera I I’m shock that Sony zv1 have not English setting. it so hard to me to use it because the setting is Japanese 😢
My camera is set in English; you should be able to change the language in the menu settings!
I'll tried but they is no setting for English. I buy this camera here in Japan and shock that no English setting.

No problem! I use the MacBook air with the iMovie editing software! Before I used my laptop I used my iPad, which also works with iMovie.
