Thanks for the videos guys. Another great one I forgot to ask for
I ordered a set the other day. Looking forward to learning and riding.
Mattie Tice is a living treasure!
Keep up the good works guys.
The world needs more JMK Freeskates
… and superheroes:)
Very essential tips here, great vid!
Congrats on another quality piece of content. Thanks guys, I learned so much from this one. It's really helpful to watch stuff that shows the limits and expectations one can have for freeskating.
Awesome :)
Jack is great at explaining mechanics of skating. The infinity spin video was great one for some fundamentals too.
Roll With Us ! 🤙💙
👏👏 Awesome video 😁. Good job 👏 👏
Thank you man!! So glad you enjoyed 😁
I love all the NPCs you guys included in this freeskate video
I saw it. Tried it. Could not stop just non stop repetition and seeing how time put into and a slight decline really help with figuring out the gas pedal for traversing
Good stuff, keep it coming...
I have a suggestion:
Make a vid about improving or training balance. Everybody knows balance is key to many sports but few are aware that it is a trainable ability.
Hugs from Brazil 🇧🇷
Thanks for the tips, I'm type who just go around in slow and casual ride since not so good at pumping. Now I think I will increase the speed with right technique
Of course, happy to help! It’s only gonna get more fun - Stay safe out there :)
In our city, freeskate lovers on the city map indicate by color the roads that are good for skating with comments. This makes it more convenient to choose a route.
Sorry for the automatic translation.
I like the blue baseball bat hahahah
Any tips on building stamina? I can only ride for around 20 minutes before I just tire out completely!
Raising the load from the muscles of the ankles to the muscles of the back and abs helped me well. Plus - a gym.
Sorry for the automatic translation.
@@maratmarat9496 Consistency! Try to ride on a frequent schedule, even if not for very long.
@@kyral4978 You are absolutely right. As we say: “The one who walks can master the road.”
As others are getting at, it’ll be a matter of time! I’d recommend using them for routine commutes/activities if possible, or just any way to incorporate them into your day. Just like with running, your stamina will build over time! Regular freeskating sounds ideal but the weather doesn't allow it and for old skaters in particular I think some exercises would help keep the fitness up. Any you would particularly recommend e.g. Squats for bending...
What about dealing with arch pain in the foot when you ride for a long time?
You might be pushing down with your toes, or maybe holding your foot in an uncomfortable position. When I started, I used to tense up the muscles in my foot. Maybe I thought I was gripping the deck? It might be something like that.
In the second year of skiing, I have long forgotten about the pain in my foot and ankle - after 10 miles my abs and buttocks hurt. The legs are relaxed almost the entire time you ride.
@@maratmarat9496 I have been skiing for 9 years but ever since I started freeskates if I ride for a long time there’s a pain in the arch
Taking breaks can help, even just small ones. Also, the deck size can make a considerable difference - As someone that started with small knockoff skates, the large deck on JMKs puts less of a pressure point into your arch. how did they pass the same woman twice lmaooo 5:33
Max speed in km/h?
In this video we hit about 33 km/hr on flat ground 🤙
@@jmkride yeah thats faster than my ebike!
You would get a speeding ticket in Cambridge.
Actually? 🤣
@@jmkride Yes, they don’t seem to be issued for cyclists running red lights but they need to get the money back for all of the 20mph signs they have put up😂
Mattie with a shirt on?
😆😆
lol 😂 It is a rare moment in time lol
20 miles per hour feels pretty fast lol
You should send me some for free (I am broke ;-;)
