- That last video sure did bomb, but continuing with the theme of getting ready for the new Bike Season, I got a full face helmet. I went with the Smith Mainline DH Certified Enduro Helmet. It should be light enough that I wear it on my local trails, but protect me well enough that when I am at a bike park, I am not taking unnecessary risks.
As always, smash that like button, subscribe and hit the notification bell. This is going to be a fun adventure.

thank you for this video! the exact one i needed. i just ordered this for a bike trip in a few weeks!
Have fun!
Good job. Thank you for the info.
Thank you
I love my mainline. I didn’t like the (initially) cumbersome D-rings at first, but now would take nothing less.
Agreed. On cold days the D ring can be difficult, but other than that, I love it too.
What size if head do you have? At 59cm, I'm on the cusp of the size medium and size large. Thanks for any help.
I am at 56CM. I am in between a Small and a Medium. I have a medium, but I use the largest pads that came with it, and now that they have compressed a little, the helmet is not loose, but no longer really tight either.
Im looking at getting this helmet, one thing people were saying was that the mips system is loud, can you attest to this?
I haven't heard anything. It is my first MIPS helmet and the only think I did notice was the way it slightly rotates on your head when you first put it on.
@@OldAZMountainBikerInMA Just tried one on and it made a slight noise, also my POC tectal helmet is a medium, this helmet the medium feels small due to my ears being too snug near the cheek pads or is it supposed to feel that way
@@Big-O86 I have a super small head. I wear a medium with the thickest pads they offer. I also wear a medium Bontrager Half shell that I crank down on the boa.
It makes a little noise, but if you get the padding right, you almost don’t hear it.
Size?
I wear a medium helmet with most brands. I bought a medium and had to use the largest pad options they had. So I think they run a touch on the larger size.
@@OldAZMountainBikerInMA okay.. Thank you
