i remember this on tv. i must have been 10 and was a casual eastenders viewer. i remember saying to my mum "he's not really leaving for good is he?" she said. "yeah. it won't be the same without him will it?" and next is walking with dinosaurs, i remember watching that every week too wow. it was so long ago now

@MeBenHalpin Beppe was Sam's boyfriend at the time, so i assume he was doing it for her, but you could tell from the ex-copper's face that he was glad to see the back of Grant!
