This was a good movie. Years later I still remember it fondly. This song is so great.
Karliene I just want to thank you for the magic you have done with this song. King Arthur is one of my favorite Arthurian films not because I think it was overly well done but because the film and this song is what kept me strong during my mum’s breast cancer treatment the summer of 2004. I was in collage studying ancient history (I was born in England and have an interest in Roman Britain) when she was diagnosed and it took everything I had to keep her from knowing how scared I was for her. Thank God she made it through with flying colors but as I said before King Arthur and Song Of Exile came along when I needed to be reminded of the inner strength my Celtic/Dacian/Sarmatian ancestors passed on to me. I thank you again, with all my heart.

I used to sing all the time when I was little but I wasn't good ( my mum called me a wailing banshee ) but I kept at it because it made me happy. I loved this song in the movie, you could see it on their faces, a child's desperate plea to go home. A wish so strong that it was chanted like a prayer.
Your singing inspires me whilst I sit in my studio ... I paint ancient and sacred sights here in Cornwall and your voice help me connect to the places... and I guess people who used to live here in these places... the exile song really inspires.... thanks once again Karliene

I had just begun to forget what actual beauty in a voice sounds like. Nowadays, you simply hear a voice tuned robotically by a computer and various effects. Then I heard your voice and I simply stopped and listened.
The absolute beauty in your voice moved me. I can honestly say that I felt a tear come to my eye. Then I promptly went through all of your videos where you sang- I must say that I especially love Listen to the Wind :)- and you have made me remember what natural beauty in a voice is.
Is song always makes me homesick. And reminds me of how much i would love to go back to live there but i can not because the jons available simply do not pay enough to support myself let alone a family. One day maybe it will happen.

my most favorite movie of all time! this is a wonderful recording, thank you for doing this! You have brought back so many happy memories associated with this film, I was in grade 8 when i first saw it and now I'm almost done my undergrad and hoping to do an MA in Arthurian studies, this is the film that started it all and this just bought it all back!

This scene was very emotional, as we Hmong warrior that lived in the high mountains also gave our services to superior power U.S.A during the Vietnam war under the Secrete war in Laos. When the U.S. pull out we were Exiled and been living in hiding in the U.S. for over 40yrs.

Every time I hear this song I feel like crying. I live in the US, but my true home is Ireland, so this always makes me think of going there. I love your voice and you did an amazing job with this, but I was wondering if you might do one of the full song. I know they only sang part of it in the movie, but I think the full version would be great to hear; I can't find a good version anywhere on here.

Beautiful cover. I can see that scene from Arthur when you could see sarmatian warriors miss their land while listening to this song. The hooves of horses still rule over eastern steppes making sarmatian grandfathers proud.
