- we raised a carno and discovered a human structure we never saw before. then we failed in battle, got hunted and had a bad ending. I wanted to turn it around by trying a new mutation, but, somehow destiny had other plans XD

I love how the music went from "battle" to "romcom elevator" as soon as you saw the dryo. So many CZcamsrs I watch let their health and water get so low, completely opposite of my playstyle but I guess it makes for more exciting content. Seeing the dino in need right when the next clip of a scarp begins is a lot more nailbiting then going in fully hydrated and bursting at the seams.
yeah, honestly, I often get lost in time while exploring in between. I am like, oh, I never went this way, so let's try. 20 minutes later I am in trouble with food
OMGGG😭😭😭 I'm so sorry that I didn't let you get the cannibal mutation, maybe you had to eat it more than once I discovered that this mutation exists thanks to the video of a CZcamsr who also makes guides, anyway it was truly a beautiful video I love you always MOMBIE❤️❤️❤️
I think it was destiny. because the fact that I died of thirst in an area I know pretty well, was so weird to me. I have to say, I went a little off my normal ways there, because the spasm made me bite and being loud a lot. so, I tried to avoid the normal ways, but still, I couldn't believe that happens to me there. that was so weird, it had to be destiny

You have to eat 2 stomachfuls + organs (preferably puke twice too so you clear your hunger to make place for diets). The West Access spot with the salt rock is AMAZING for getting the mutation, you just yeet yourself off of a cliff into the salt rock and eat your corpse once you return. Even if you log, the cannibal mutation will appear once you grow into your 2nd mutation spot:)
@@Tikialia I have unlocked it on Ptera by taking 1 bite then "healing" the debuff, take 1 bite, heal etc for a total of 3x times.
I do not think the amount you eat is what is important but either a number of times you have been afflicted/healed the debuff or a total time duration that you have had the debuff active like "have the cannibal debuff for 10 minutes".
Either way the amount that you eat does not seem to matter at all.

Dying to hunger after getting away from the ceras was rough getting the water mutation there was huge!! ... until it wasn't never does it rain when we want it to, only when we really want sun.
srsyl, the fact that it immediately stopped raining and I wasn't able to find that freaking pond in area I know pretty well, had to be destiny

For me now,it’s the opposite,mom screams I grab a shoe and kill the rock
I hadn't reached 50% growth yet and when I saw a big carno my first reaction, apart from fear, was to take advantage of the stamina resistance that I had being small, risky for some deino. but in this case it worked. I was the teno that you attacked gg mombie, there is a mutation in the second phase that gives you stamina for damage received, I used it with this teno and it actually worked very well!
PD: I don't know much English so I use a translator, sorry :/
hey ♥ gg mate you did a good job using the river. teno is much faster in water and needs less stam. the surroundings can and have to be used in my opinion. and you used it well no worry, I understood the text very well
It's a good thing carno doesn't have a jump or it would fracture its leg every time it used it. The thing can barely take any drop.

Cannibalism cannot be unlocked on tier 3, only on tier 2 for some reason. If you already picked your second mutation, you can't get it. :/ I really hope they change it and make it so you can select tier 2 mutations on tier 3 as well.

I think the harbour on V3 was so busy because there was drinkable warer in crates and buckets around and the ai would spawn whenever you got hungry, so you could stay there a long time
water is actually a good point. AI is also around the human structures on evrima, but water is mostly quite far away and yeah, there was a little water trough within the harbour
If you wanna be a canni you gotta eat 2-3 FULL belly fills of your own kind

I have unlocked it on a Ptera by simply getting and healing the canni debuff 3x times, eating one piece of meat each time to gain the debuff. You really do not need to fill your entire stomach to get it.

ello ♥ yeah, the other one in such a forest nearby is between the northeast lake and that pond west of it. I only was there once or twice, but, I knew it was more northeast. so, I was shocked there was a base I never discovered before nice to see I'm not the only one

Yeah, I've seen a couple omni players get it. One said to eat salt and body 3 times. I haven't gotten it to work yet either.

I suppose this sever was the hordetesting eu central one. I was on yesterday and played as a Herrera and survived quite long until a fatal error break the game and killed my dino. I met a Carno and some Teno there they seemed all friendly. I was on one of the trees echoing 1 call until a Carno emerged but I just used call 1-2 to tell him to eat 2 afk Deer npcs. Definitely annoying to see idle-afk npcs there which breaks the immersion. It's however hard to find food and water so my choice of mutations are the water and food drain slower one 20% each and the faster hp recovery or the thirst refiller with eating. It helped me quite a lot to travel long distances to get finally some water and later on fish to refill my food bar.
That actual human structure is not entirely new I was on there quite a few times but because the map sucks, coordinates not helping me unless I write it down so the places quite hard to find and as seen in the video you can easily get lost.
At least this play with Carno was acceptable until a point. The amount of rocks placed to the map is annoyance aswell especially if you playing a small animal which cannot see what is under it.
I really think this will be my choice in the future too. the -20% food drain and the -10% (or15%?) nutrients drain as second one
yeah, I never was in that part before. so, I didn't think it's new in general, but I never was there before. which is kind of weird to me, because I often explore places (without even showing in me videos). I often spend an hour or two exploring in between
I am no fan of those new little rocks either. they are nothing but annoying imo
5:09 The eat to instantly regen hp is one of the mutations that I think should be removed from the game entirely, it and a lot of other mutatipns are so overpowered that you kinda have to pick them unless everyone else will have an enormous advantage over you. They turn the game into more of a deathmatch than an actualy survival game.
they already removed some mutations, so, if it is OP, then it will be removed as well. they also said that mutations are maxed out for testing reasons. so, most of them will probably be weaker in the end anyway
@@da.mombie I mean yea but I am still a little worried. I hope they just keep the lifestyle mutations that don't effect pvp much, like the slightly more aquatic Herrera I made today.
@@ALunaticWithAShotgun no need to worry, it will be fine in the end. mutations just arrived and will be changed plenty of times. none of them will make a dino super OP on the long run. the elder system is also yet to come and they will be even more powerful.
but, no matter if elder or power mutation, it won't effect us much. that's like hacker. super OP, but, I still died more often to a cliff than a hacker. will be the same for elder and such. you will barely run into them and if so, then gg mate and I see you again after I fell down another 5 cliffs and died 20 times to normal stuff
@@da.mombie Yea I was really worried about hackers for the last few days but after watching your video and some others I guess it wasn't as big of an issue as I tought it was. I will still avoid hotspots though because I just don't want to risk it.
Carno is kinda hard and weak. good video as always
