“When the children cry let them know we tried..
'Cause when the children sing then the new world begins”. Words can move an idea, but a song will move mountains. Thanks Les.

Slash did some nice work there. Laid back a little, gave the song the gravitas it deserved and then dropped the hammer at the end. Awesome.

Dude you killed it. I would love to see a backporch or couch acoustic session from you. Maybe some original, and possibly some covers. I think it would be a hit for you. Keep doing what you're doing bud!

This is the most beautiful song on the album. And I am so happy for the intro being there. As a lifelong fan, could I possibly share it on my own channel in the spirit of promotion? More people simply need to hear it. The video is heartbreaking. But what else then the truth could illustrate these lyrics?

Damnit les.. im a hard man to break didn't cry when my mom died... still this brought tears to my eyes. "Also this is y i dont want kids. I dont belive the earth will support us much longer at the rate were destroying "

Lol the earth will be fine, the temps aren't that high compared to when the dinosaurs walked earth. It all goes in cycles and its foolish to think we actually have enough impact to jeopardize the earth's biosphere. I've seen the trash too and mining and all that. it'll all be gone in a few thousand years and if its not life will adapt to the paragon. You live your life in fear of a future you will never see and that is pathetic.

How, Les. How are we going to fix it? And no, it's not "personal responsibility" because most people don't have the option to change their habits the way things are now.
"Personal responsibility" shifts the blame from corporations to the consumers they exploit, and it's such a cop-out because even if everyone disrupted their entire lives, it wouldn't do anywhere near as much good as eliminating just two random coal industry lobbyists from Washington.
In the meantime, blaming the people distracts from doing anything actually useful like using renewables or building high-speed rail and mass transit everywhere.
The world isn't DYING, it's BEING MURDERED.

No one can say what must be done. The solution is censored. Seek no shelter in knowledge, for there's none to find... The truth, it brings pain, suffering, requires sacrifice. There is power in knowledge, there is responsibility, there is duty and action, but no shelter. Keep moving forward, we can't return to the halcyon days of our youth. Arm yourself with knowledge, and shield the future with action.
