The opening riff is one of the nastiest, sludgiest most diabolical in metal and Bill Wards' drumming is absolutely amazing!
Yes to all
Mansons the beautiful people opening riff goes incredibly hard as well
If more followed the message of this song, they would be at more peace
Without the last 2 1/2 Minuten, heavy metal wouldn't exists nowadays. Groundbreaking.
3:58 begins one of the most powerfull and epic solo of the music's story. And from 5:23 till the end, a perfect way to close a masterpiece like that
This was the hardest song in the 70’s no doubt
Underrated song. This one and cornucopia dont get old.
I feel Cornucopia is seriously underrated.
Agree
Underrated what? Three generations of masters of guitar have grown with this masterpiece
@@mariolicitri1763 thats cool. enjoy being correct all the time. must be hard.
If I was an MMA fighter I would use this song as my walkout music. Those two opening riffs are stone solid.
Nice choice
Badass
60 years old and I still live my life by the song 1% to a day I die
I am very lucky that my parents had this outlook and raised me this way. We hear so much about the destructive character of the Boomer generation, but they also have people like Geezer Butler, who could articulate the exact opposite mentality.
3:56 oh my... absolutely beautiful!
This is probably the best song ever written hands down. All hail geezer butler. Ozzy. Toni iomi sorry if I spelled it wrong. All hail black sabbath. Thank you
The real BLACK SABBATH
insane opening so dark and slow evil spitting out!
Words to live by kids!
Ozzy had the best lyrics and melodies. damn
Yeah, and written by Geezer Butler. At least the lyrics.
@@ANationalAcrobat I was also going to point that out lol. Geezer was actually the primary creative force behind the lyrics to Black Sabbath far as I know. There are exceptions, of course.
Awesome lirycs my Sunday sermon 😄😎
My 1st impresssion is this was
The best song on the album

Amen to the Prince of Darkness. In a world of so called Light. I guess I will stay Dark Too.
Dark matter that matters
The opening riff reminds me of Candlemass.
That another band? If so what song
@@nevenshadoenew503 I think he means song called Psalms for the dead.
@@zargantenna628 y'all candlecrap fans like >.< this huh
@@iceintheair Candlemass is a good band, actually thay have better songs than all modern metal bands together. But that's my opinion, all bands have their fans, no need to throw a shit on whatever somebody like...
The lyrics of this song I can relate to the most!!
The song name is Under The Sun. The "Every Day Comes And Goes" is record company horsepoop. To inflate the product. They (record company) did that with a lot of their longer songs. Kind of silly, considering that these are 6 and 7 minute songs and just because they change up the riffs and tempo, doesn't mean it's a song within a song. It's an interlude or an outro...the title of the song, stays the same.
You are absolutely right. All the copies I own (UK/EU) have the title "Under the Sun".
@@ANationalAcrobat ...plus on live stuff, you never heard Osbourne say "We're gonna do a number now called "War Pigs/Luke's Wall" ". ...No, he always said just "War Pigs".

AC/DC SUCK TO DAY,& I USED TO HAVE ALL THEIR RECORDS, BUT WHEN BRIAN JOHNSON GOT FIRED BY ANGUS & HIS BROTHER MALCOM UP & DIED, THAT WAS IT, I BURNED ALL MY AC/DC & I WILL NEVER PLAY THEIR RECORDS AGAIN ! I HATE AC/DC TODAY.
This song may be Sabbaths most satanic offering, and this from a band who tried so hard to tell people their not into satan, they tell us in the previous album that God is the only way, and here He has to be ignored, why listen to such unstable, twisted souls? " I've opened the door and my minds been released", sir your minds been locked and sealed since birth, and you can by no means open it.
Back in the day Sabbath was my group, couldn't get enough of them, saw them in concert, felt the same way so many of you do, till Jesus Christ so graciously opened my blind eyes to Satan's subtilty and wares.ONLY THE LORD can open man's eyes and minds, and when He does, we change, from the very heart. The One, perfect in beauty and righteousness, great in Mercy and kindness, this is The One these musicians tell us to ignore and reject.
Ah, man, listen to one who was with you at one time, one who knows THE TRUTH, cast these deceivings from your enemy behind your back, these things are not for your good but destruction. I'm so glad to be a Jesus freak, so glad to " know what it's all about". Why am I here anyway? Spying on The enemy.
Why you so offended it's just a song
Lmao ok dude
@@joelabel7843 Ah, “but I’ll be prepared when you’re lonely and scared at the end of your days “.
What I get out of this song isn't satanic but more of a rebellion type of vibe towards organized religions and people telling you how you have to live. Some people aren't religious and still have faith in God I'm not sayin thats the case with them but he literally says in the first 2 lines no Jesus freak and no black magician. But idk it just seems they were having a spiritual war.
