Would love for them to have something like this but with high risk and high reward. Something like jumping from one rooftop to another kinda like the Dome Monument in rust where you die if you miss the jump.
my gf got me to play rust recently and im loving the parkour and my gf struggles to jump the smallest thing lol. id love for games to implement that more.

It’d be cool to have a marked room that’s ONLY accessible through a high risk jump, and would have to fight your way out regardless.
I THINK their idea here was to have an exit from Marked room in case you get pinned down or something. Idk what the purpose of the window on top was though; maybe being able to attack Marked from outside? Sounds campy and toxic regardless. Top window has to go.

Okay, this is evil… but I personally think they shouldn’t touch marked room at all! Except… they don’t even remove the radiator, they just make it slightly shorter so you can’t jump back out of the room. But they never address it in a patch. They just slip in the fix, and say nothing. You’re free to get in… but no way back out unless someone actually has the key 😂

I think the jump out is cool. Like an escape route. The jump in is the issue, really.
I thought the opposite, the ability to jump out as a second exit is cool, if they were to fix this they could just block the window that allows people in.
EDIT: this is assuming of course that the devs didn't make that method of looting marked room on purpose, which is also a possibility.

I'm all for cheaky ways to get passed locked doors. But this being a marked room is gonna make most the map passed up on because people know a marked room is free. Gotta patch this.

Marked room access doesn't have to be absolutely key gated, it can be like Shoreline marked room or Woods marked circles.
The drop rate though, that's absolutely getting nerfed.

Yeah, "easy" fix is adding bars/planks to those windows
You must be new. If you mean blocking the windows, there have been other drop downs into locked rooms for years. If you mean a loot nerf they always adjust marked room loot.
I think they will keep it, creates a good pvp attraction as you are very vulnerable when you drop from outside.

IIRC, there is also a room in Customs where you can enter a locked room (not marked) by doing a bit of parkour outside and entering via a window.
Methinks they will:
1.) patch this out
2.) Leave as is (the whole being able to go in via a window drop is intentional)
3.) add more marked rooms and/or more high-density loot areas (since the map currently seems empty)
I do believe that Streets of Tarkov will be "filled out" the same way maps like Customs received an "expansion" treatment. There is just a lot of space for loot, and moar opportunities for AI scavs, UN troops, PMC-aligned/amicable groups, and the "Third Faction" to make their debut.
I wish Streets will have faction strongholds/sectors, roving patrols (Scavs, pmc-aligned groups, UN, "third faction"), and said roving patrols get into firefights with rival factions as well as random "pushes" by factions into their rivals' strongholds/sectors. Too taxing on PCs? Yes. But said mechanic would "liven up" the currently empty streets and make it harder for snipers to keep sniping and for roamers to keep stomping around as if they owned the whole place.
Maybe they could make it run better than 15 fps on a 2 year old high end PC first.
USEC stash is kinda hard to get into without the key now, have you done it recently?

The devs will probably patch it out but would be nice if they make the Marked room only accessible by dropping down to change things up. Probably with a loot nerf.

Unrelated completely. But SCAVs are so strong right now. 😂😂 I’ve died less than a minute from extract in Woods twice to SCAVs. One tapped, Head,Eyes. Just completely ignoring my helmet man. It hurts so baddd. Lost 2 AK-104s and BP because of it.

Seems pretty well spread out
Map isn’t the biggest in size but has so much playable area inside/around buildings that it makes it feel a lot bigger. Loot also feels fairly spread out. You’ll only find like 1-2 things in most rooms but there are so many you can fill a bag fairly quickly.
nearloy no loot anywhere.. not even a spot or two.. did 2 hours offline and found only like 2 rares. most stuff is in loot boxes like duffel bags.

@@marius2621 nah I spent more time than most do in offline. I searched everything and I found super successful loot routes on day one of lighthouse and I found the best rogue farm route before they nerfed it. I'm good at finding loot. This map has the least loot out of all the maps besides factory.

So much regression in this game. From a dev perspective I can tell they just have a shitty code base and instead of going 1 step back and fixing it, they keep adding band-aid on band-aid making it worse with each iteration of added features. They got a real good example of bug creep.
