2:34 Come on, to even TAKE the Lions to the playoffs is a huge accomplishment. Stafford I don’t think you can put him on here for how bad his team always was
Honorable Mentions: Randall Cunningham - 1990 NFC Wild Card Game (Cunningham's worse individual playoff performance was the Fog Bowl, but come on now, that's unfair. Especially when he threw for 400 yards somehow. Give him credit. I'm instead going with this game, where he threw for 205 yards, a pick and a 60.5 rating. The Eagles actually looked good at the start with a 6-0 lead, but then Washington, who was obviously still upset from the Body Bag game, scored 20 unanswered points the remainder of the game. Cunningham's interception came when then were down 7-6 and the game was still winnable. Tough scene.) Donovan McNabb - 2003 NFC Championship Game (I know he's your favorite QB, but everyone is fair game. In this game where to be fair, the Eagles' whole offensive performance was...well, offensive to any race, gender, class and creed, McNabb threw for just 100 yards and 3 INT's, all to A.I. generated defensive back #24, for a horrific 19.3 rating. The sad part is that Philly held the lowly Panthers to just 14 points. If McNabb played even average, the Eagles most certainly make the Super Bowl that year.) Michael Vick - 2004 NFC Championship Game (Michael Vick is one of the best duel-threat QB's ever. Unfortunately, in the biggest game he ever played in, he stunk. He threw just 24 times for only 136 yards and an INT for a 46.5 rating. But more importantly, he was held to just 26 rushing yards. Oof.) Ken Stabler - 1974 AFC Championship Game (He was also bad in the next' year AFC Championship and his return his Oakland as an Oiler, but I went with this one because despite facing a historic defense, he was still at home in good weather and only lost by 6 points. He did throw a TD, but also 3 INT's for a 52.0 rating.) Bob Griese - 1978 AFC Wild Card Game (Griese wasn't really known for throwing the ball, but he did shine a little in the post Super Bowl years in Miami. This game was...one of his more off days, as on 28 attempts, he threw for just 114 yards, a TD, and 2 picks for a 33.9 rating and also just 1.57 adjusted net yards per attempt in an 8 point loss.) Joe Theismann - Super Bowl 18 (The team played like shit, but completing barely over 45% of your passes, throwing 2 INT's, one of them being a terrible pick 6 near your goal line, and having a putrid 45.3 rating doesn't really help.) Phil Simms - 1989 NFC Divisional Round (I would put his Dan Marino esque horrific last game in the 1993 NFC Divisional Round, but he was facing the 49ers and got blown out. Instead, I put this game where the Midgets choked away a very winnable game to the Rams in OT. He only threw for 180 yards, no TD's, an INT, and a 53.8 rating.) Joe Namath - 1969 AFC Divisional Round (Ok, so the infamous premartial sex haver only made the playoffs twice in his career, but I just couldn't ignore this pathetic performance in a 6 point loss. 35% competition percentage, no TD's, 3 INT's, and a jaw-dropping 17.6 rating. There's playing like crap against good defenses and then there's this...) Jim Hart - 1975 NFC Divisional Round (Hart is one of the few good QB's in Cardinals history, but you already know he didn't make the playoff much, even with Air Coryell as his coach. His worst performance came here as this game was a bit more winnable than the previous year, but that's not saying much. He threw 3 INT's for a 54.0 rating in the 12 point loss to the Rams.) Ken Anderson - 1972 AFC Divisional Round - (Honestly, Anderson's playoff career has been pretty solid despite never winning a Super Bowl. Except his first ever playoff game, where he threw for just 113 yards and an INT for a 47.3 rating, and getting his ass kicked by the infamous '72 Dolphins.) Boomer Esiason - Super Bowl 23 (Like Joe Namath, he only made the playoffs twice in his career, but honestly, his entire Super Bowl run was pretty bad performance wise, but none worse than the actual Super Bowl itself, where against the 49ers, the league MVP completed just 44% of his passes for 144 yards and an INT for a 46.1 rating. The Bengals only had the lead twice, but Boomer threw his interception on the first time which resulted in a touchdown, and the other the Bungles go up by 3 with 3 minutes left, but that was way too much time for Joe Cool. Cincy turned the ball other on downs to end the Super Bowl.) Doug Williams - 1981 NFC Divisional Round (By far the best #12 in Bucs history and there's not even a close second. Anyway, this game was a doozy, as against a formidable Cowboys squad, Doug threw just 34% of his passes for a whopping 4 INT's for a 18.1 rating in a shutout loss. Disgusting.) Mark Rypien - 1992 NFC Divisional Round (Ok, so he only had one memorable year for himself, but he was a solid QB in Washington for a few years, so I decided to mention this game where he completed just 47.5% of his 40 passes for 2 INT's and a 49.0 rating.) Steve McNair - 2006 AFC Divisional Round (The late McNair has a few options here to choose from, including wins, but I went with this game because all the Ravens needed to do was score 2 touchdowns and they win here. Instead, against one of the worst defenses in the league in the Colts, McNair threw for just 173 yards, 2 picks, and a 49.9 rating. While the Colts would win the Super Bowl that year, this will go down as one of the many years in franchise history while the Ravens wasted good defenses with shit offenses.) Mark Brunell - 2005 NFC Wild Card (I could have went with the 1996 AFC Championship, but there wasn't a major point in that game that felt winnable except for Brunell throwing his only interception in the 4th quarter while only down by 7. Instead, I went with this shitshow where Brunell somehow played worse than the opposing QB who sold the game on numerous occasions. Brunell only threw the ball 15 times, but threw an INT for a disgusting 25.7 rating. He got bailed out big time by his defense and a dropped TD by Edell Shepherd late in the 4th up by 7 in an ugly win.) Daunte Culpepper - 2000 NFC Championship Game (He only made the playoffs twice, but did good in his first games of those years, but not the second ones. Especially against the 2000 Giants, where he threw for just 78 yards and 3 INT's for a jaw dropping 13.7 rating in a 41-0 ass whooping. Yikes.) Drew Bledsoe - 1994 AFC Wild Card Game (Bledsoe is a mediocre quarterback with some terrible playoff performances in losses, but none worse than this Wild Card game against Cleveland and future head coach Bill Belichick. Bledsoe did throw 4 INT's in Super Bowl 31, but threw 2 TD's early and even had a 14-10 at one point so I just couldn't pick that one. Here, the Pats lost by just 7 points where on 50 attempts, Bledsoe threw for 235 yards, a TD, and 3 INT's for a putrid 38.3 rating. His last 2 INT's came on back to back drives in the 4th quarter down by 7. Damn son.) Carson Palmer - 2015 NFC Championship Game (Palmer only made the playoffs 3 times and got injured in his first game, but mostly did ok in his playoff career. That was until the 2015 NFC title bout, where against the 15-1 Panthers, Palmer threw 4 INT's for a 43.2 rating, including a late 4th quarter pick six to Luke Kuechly in a blowout loss.)
@@ManEFresh There were moments throughout the game where Philly had a chance to make it close but Mcnabb had two costly fumbles and of course the pick-six.
That six interception game by Favre was definitely his worst game, but Super Bowl 32 deserves a mention of his biggest choke job. It was an extremely winnable game, and he lost to a guy who didn’t even throw a touchdown that day, and who got blown out 3 times previously in Super Bowls. Everyone expected the same this time. That said, back to back titles is a great way to finish a career especially with all the previous blunders so good on you Elway. He also proved the next year he could put up a great performance on the biggest stage. I wouldn’t give a shit about the loss if Favre had won another ring, but as we all know, he didn’t. What a waste of a career.
Lolwut? Did you even watch SB 55? That was 1-on-11 football. Mahomes did everything he could to give his "team" a chance to win, even after they apparently did peyote all weekend. You could spit off a building in downtown KC and hit somebody who was more to blame for that debacle than Mahomes.
Do a video on worst playoff teams. Example: 2008 Chargers, 2021 Raiders, 2020 Browns, 2012 Colts 2021 Raiders, 2012 Colts, and 2020 Browns Both had negative point differentials and negative turnover differentials (Browns had a positive turnover differential though) despite having more than 10+ wins. Both teams won their games in close games by luck and when both teams lost their few games, they lost by a lot of points, like 20+ points. 2008 Chargers: Started 4-8, won their last 4 games in luck. They beat the Jamarcus-lead Raiders 34-7, almost lost to the 2-14 Chiefs but they fumbled an onside kick and missed a game winning field goal. Beat the Bucs which started 9-3 but missed the playoffs in a 41-24 blowout. And then beat the fraudulent Broncos 52-21 in Week 17. Despite this, they had a positive point differential, but still a very lucky season.
I don’t think people realize that he was bad for a bit until he turned it on in the most important stretch of the season. I can’t blame him too much for it though. Kinda hard to come out firing on all cylinders when you’re riding the bench for a while.
@@machoboys8884 every good/great QB has games like that though in the postseason. Not many QBs can have multiple off/bad games like Brady and still win in the postseason.
Dear Opinionated guy, you want lots of "Is Flacco elite?" questions? They were 2-2 vs. Brady's Patriots one loss in an AFCC. The other in the divisional, but they'd beat the Colts to face the Seahawks. Assuming only 50% in Super Bowls they'd be 2-1 - maybe with back to back wins. So unless you are a Flacco fan, thank Tom Brady for stopping that crap.
I think both of Mahomes last two playoff losses were all time stinkers for a QB as good as him. However, the first I think had nothing to do with him, whereas this last year, although the coaches were morons to abandon the run against cover 7/8, was an embarrassing choke job full of bad decisions with the game on the line. Critical Overtime plays were: 2 passes to Demarcus Robinson, and a Hail Mary to tyreek in double coverage.
Friendly reminder: Lamar Jackson was actually beating Allen in most major stat categories durring the 2020 divisional playoff game, up untill he missed the 4th quarter with his injury. This isn’t a knock on either players it’s more just an exercise in examining the importance of context and the windstorm they played that game in was absolutely brutal.

Just for reference people, if you just spiked the ball on every play, you would have a 39.6 QBR. So look out for any QBR in this video under that, and you’ll know it was a bad day for the man behind center
Can you do a video where you build the best team by putting the goat in every position. In you opinion .
The last time I was this early to a RunBMC video, my wife said I still have a good personality.
Barry how many WRs are going in the first round today
You should do top 15 linebackers in nfl history
4:14 Pain.
Laughing because bomani Jones got mad when I said Allen vs Jackson was awful and bo said "I don't know how you can watch this game and think both qbs are playing bad" well they did and he was roasted by his own espn coworkers.
Make a video of the worst no-calls in NFL History.
Had the 49ers won Super Bowl 54, that game would have been here as Mahomes’ worst playoff game because his O Line was healthy in that game UNLIKE Super Bowl 55.
2:34 Come on, to even TAKE the Lions to the playoffs is a huge accomplishment. Stafford I don’t think you can put him on here for how bad his team always was
Ok? That still was his worst playoff game.
2009 pats ray Rice going 75 yds for a td opening drive sealed the game
They were down 24-0 after the first quarter.
Can't wait to find out which 2011 finals game barry picks for lebrons worst playoff game
Honorable Mentions:
Randall Cunningham - 1990 NFC Wild Card Game (Cunningham's worse individual playoff performance was the Fog Bowl, but come on now, that's unfair. Tough scene.)
Donovan McNabb - 2003 NFC Championship Game (I know he's your favorite QB, but everyone is fair game. If McNabb played even average, the Eagles most certainly make the Super Bowl that year.)
Michael Vick - 2004 NFC Championship Game (Michael Vick is one of the best duel-threat QB's ever. Unfortunately, in the biggest game he ever played in, he stunk. He threw just 24 times for only 136 yards and an INT for a 46.5 rating. But more importantly, he was held to just 26 rushing yards. Oof.)
Ken Stabler - 1974 AFC Championship Game (He was also bad in the next' year AFC Championship and his return his Oakland as an Oiler, but I went with this one because despite facing a historic defense, he was still at home in good weather and only lost by 6 points. He did throw a TD, but also 3 INT's for a 52.0 rating.)
Bob Griese - 1978 AFC Wild Card Game (Griese wasn't really known for throwing the ball, but he did shine a little in the post Super Bowl years in Miami. This game was...one of his more off days, as on 28 attempts, he threw for just 114 yards, a TD, and 2 picks for a 33.9 rating and also just 1.57 adjusted net yards per attempt in an 8 point loss.)
Joe Theismann - Super Bowl 18 (The team played like shit, but completing barely over 45% of your passes, throwing 2 INT's, one of them being a terrible pick 6 near your goal line, and having a putrid 45.3 rating doesn't really help.)
Phil Simms - 1989 NFC Divisional Round (I would put his Dan Marino esque horrific last game in the 1993 NFC Divisional Round, but he was facing the 49ers and got blown out. Instead, I put this game where the Midgets choked away a very winnable game to the Rams in OT. He only threw for 180 yards, no TD's, an INT, and a 53.8 rating.)
Joe Namath - 1969 AFC Divisional Round (Ok, so the infamous premartial sex haver only made the playoffs twice in his career, but I just couldn't ignore this pathetic performance in a 6 point loss. 35% competition percentage, no TD's, 3 INT's, and a jaw-dropping 17.6 rating. There's playing like crap against good defenses and then there's this...)
Jim Hart - 1975 NFC Divisional Round (Hart is one of the few good QB's in Cardinals history, but you already know he didn't make the playoff much, even with Air Coryell as his coach. His worst performance came here as this game was a bit more winnable than the previous year, but that's not saying much. He threw 3 INT's for a 54.0 rating in the 12 point loss to the Rams.)
Ken Anderson - 1972 AFC Divisional Round - (Honestly, Anderson's playoff career has been pretty solid despite never winning a Super Bowl. Except his first ever playoff game, where he threw for just 113 yards and an INT for a 47.3 rating, and getting his ass kicked by the infamous '72 Dolphins.)
Boomer Esiason - Super Bowl 23 (Like Joe Namath, he only made the playoffs twice in his career, but honestly, his entire Super Bowl run was pretty bad performance wise, but none worse than the actual Super Bowl itself, where against the 49ers, the league MVP completed just 44% of his passes for 144 yards and an INT for a 46.1 rating. The Bengals only had the lead twice, but Boomer threw his interception on the first time which resulted in a touchdown, and the other the Bungles go up by 3 with 3 minutes left, but that was way too much time for Joe Cool. Cincy turned the ball other on downs to end the Super Bowl.)
Doug Williams - 1981 NFC Divisional Round (By far the best #12 in Bucs history and there's not even a close second. Anyway, this game was a doozy, as against a formidable Cowboys squad, Doug threw just 34% of his passes for a whopping 4 INT's for a 18.1 rating in a shutout loss. Disgusting.)
Mark Rypien - 1992 NFC Divisional Round (Ok, so he only had one memorable year for himself, but he was a solid QB in Washington for a few years, so I decided to mention this game where he completed just 47.5% of his 40 passes for 2 INT's and a 49.0 rating.)
Steve McNair - 2006 AFC Divisional Round (The late McNair has a few options here to choose from, including wins, but I went with this game because all the Ravens needed to do was score 2 touchdowns and they win here. Instead, against one of the worst defenses in the league in the Colts, McNair threw for just 173 yards, 2 picks, and a 49.9 rating. While the Colts would win the Super Bowl that year, this will go down as one of the many years in franchise history while the Ravens wasted good defenses with shit offenses.)
Mark Brunell - 2005 NFC Wild Card (I could have went with the 1996 AFC Championship, but there wasn't a major point in that game that felt winnable except for Brunell throwing his only interception in the 4th quarter while only down by 7. Instead, I went with this shitshow where Brunell somehow played worse than the opposing QB who sold the game on numerous occasions. Brunell only threw the ball 15 times, but threw an INT for a disgusting 25.7 rating. He got bailed out big time by his defense and a dropped TD by Edell Shepherd late in the 4th up by 7 in an ugly win.)
Daunte Culpepper - 2000 NFC Championship Game (He only made the playoffs twice, but did good in his first games of those years, but not the second ones. Especially against the 2000 Giants, where he threw for just 78 yards and 3 INT's for a jaw dropping 13.7 rating in a 41-0 ass whooping. Yikes.)
Drew Bledsoe - 1994 AFC Wild Card Game (Bledsoe is a mediocre quarterback with some terrible playoff performances in losses, but none worse than this Wild Card game against Cleveland and future head coach Bill Belichick. Damn son.)
Carson Palmer - 2015 NFC Championship Game (Palmer only made the playoffs 3 times and got injured in his first game, but mostly did ok in his playoff career. That was until the 2015 NFC title bout, where against the 15-1 Panthers, Palmer threw 4 INT's for a 43.2 rating, including a late 4th quarter pick six to Luke Kuechly in a blowout loss.)
I would go with the 2002 NFCCG for Mcnabb since 2003 was really on the receivers.
@@gbrow1604 Philly was never really in that game once Tampa got going though, and remember their historic defense.
@@ManEFresh There were moments throughout the game where Philly had a chance to make it close but Mcnabb had two costly fumbles and of course the pick-six.
Yay the thing I requested in your dms on Twitter is here! Thanks so much!
Just a further example that great players can struggles. Doesn't make em less, just means that they're human.
Suggestion: Worst Missed Kick by every team
Do the best player from every draft!
The Broncos scored 4 TDs though.
Well...Wide Receiver next?
Bad Wide Receiver with Great Games? Or
HOF/Great Wide Receiver with Bad Playoff Games?
Goddamn. That 6-pick game by Farve was super unlucky. See all of those tipped passes?
2:06 damnit please be good next year, not questioning lamar tho he'll be back
Love how half the ints im seeing just looks like the WR dropped it
The worst playoff game by a star QB of all time will always been Kyler Murray in the 2022 wild card vs the rams
Uh, which playoff performance was Flacco famous for?? (It's a rhetorical que). 🤔
I love how phillip rivers worse lose he's showing tom brady throwing picks
Lolwut? Did you even watch SB 55? That was 1-on-11 football. Mahomes did everything he could to give his "team" a chance to win, even after they apparently did peyote all weekend. You could spit off a building in downtown KC and hit somebody who was more to blame for that debacle than Mahomes.
I'm suprised for Peyton it wasn't SB 48
Why does this magically re appear after what Tom Brady just did?
Oh yeah I was one of the people in the comments on his last video requesting this
The Super Bowl had so many drops and such a bad online performance that it’s very difficult to blame mahomes
I sense sarcasm with Ben Roethlishberger 🤔
I figured this was going to be a Brady video.
I thought for a little bit that this was just gonna be a list of Brady's worst playoff games
4:52 OUCH.
Do a video on worst playoff teams.
Example: 2008 Chargers, 2021 Raiders, 2020 Browns, 2012 Colts
2021 Raiders, 2012 Colts, and 2020 Browns
Both had negative point differentials and negative turnover differentials (Browns had a positive turnover differential though) despite having more than 10+ wins.
Can’t wait to hear about the nba playoffs worse performance
What about Brady's playoff loss to Sanchez and the Jets though...5 sacks IIRC
I’d argue this years playoff loss was a worse game for Rodgers considering it was at home
Jeffries butterfingers still bothers me lol
You put any qb in mahomes place in sb 55 and they would have the same results. Maybe not even 9 points
Love Foles but man people act like he was flawless when he shit the bed a few games before the SB
I don’t think people realize that he was bad for a bit until he turned it on in the most important stretch of the season. I can’t blame him too much for it though. Kinda hard to come out firing on all cylinders when you’re riding the bench for a while.
Ban worst playoff game was this last playoff against the chiefs.
Barry mcockiner is the best nfl CZcamsr ever
watched this video expecting just a rodgers clip show.
Ok did you see Mahomes getting absolutely lit up on every single one of those throws in your highlights though?
Doesn’t mean he didn’t play bad
Well, Josh Allen had his first horrible playoff game a few weeks ago
How Tom Brady always wins while throwing 3 int’s both amazes and angers me.
Because when he plays like a god he loses, prime example being against the eagles
Roethlisberger's worst game was Divisional vs Jacksonville in 2018
Can’t stress how much I enjoy his comments about The World Renowned Women Respecter Ben Roethlisberger
Brady could’ve had a few games out here tbh
Best Mr. Irrelevants in NFL history? Given that it's draft time
Garbage suggestion.
If you haven’t we need a great playoff games by bad or back up qbs
0:15 you’re welcome Barry
-ravens fan
Glen Davis would’ve been the best quarterback ever I swear since I was a toddler
Me, an empath: Senses Barry does not like Tom Brady
When Mahomes get shut out for a SB its the OF fault when Burrow suceeds with a shitty OF its his fault for not being elite.
Friendly reminder:
Lamar Jackson was actually beating Allen in most major stat categories durring the 2020 divisional playoff game, up untill he missed the 4th quarter with his injury.
This isn’t a knock on either players it’s more just an exercise in examining the importance of context and the windstorm they played that game in was absolutely brutal.
Also Justin Tucker missed 2 FGs.
Mahomes played his ass off in that Superbowl, while running for his life out there. Not a single QB in NFL history could've come close to winning that game
