Absolutely. I’m surprised how much I like this game. Never played a warriors game but this one clicks with me. Persona 5 is one of my favorite games of all time so that helps lol
Yusuke is fun, however the fact he can only parry basic attacks and not skills bothers me to no end. Zenkichi's fucking crazy fun (and quite possibly busted)

I can just imagine if Akechi and Kasumi from Royal makes into this game. Akechi with his ability to switch Robin Hood and Loki also alternate his attacks from swift strikes and savage slashes almost like King Rhoam from Age of Calamity. And Kasumi with her beautiful dance and gymnastic prowess she'll gracefully plow through her enemies with ease.
@@narutoboy423 the only way for atlus to milk even more money from P5 is if they make an arena game with Everyone. Persona 3 to 5, at the least, with Door-kun, Akechi, Sophie, Kasumi, Maruki and Wolf. If they make one that included the P1 and P2 characters, even better.
Maybe unpopular of an opinion incoming, but I honestly would have zero complaints if Persona ditched the turn-based and just went with this in the future. Taking on large groups all at once and jumping around the place feels WAY cooler and makes the combat so much more fun.
Just play Star Ocean instead XD. I don't think Persona should permanently be like that it would be less popular. To me I honestly prefer Final Fantasy and Breath of Fire games SO much when it comes to turn based rpg, but undeniably speaking, Persona 4 was one of the best games I've ever played. I am at pre finale since years and didn't come back to it yet. Life. Lol. (I also want to play Xenogears). It has everything Persona has like social links and whatnot and the gameplay competes with the Tales series greatly. Combos and chains are the greatest in any jrpg's imo, The Last Hope is my personal favorite so far, didn't play much of TTEOT yet, I get busy. 😂😭

Alright time for my (probably biased) opinions on each character in the form of a list (as a note i love playing as all of them, even ones i didnt expect to like playing as like haru) 9. Wolf So Wolf is probably the hardest, which is probably why i dont like him as much as the rest. Again, thats not bad! Hes just not someone i like playing as all that much. His combos are really simple, but its also pretty hard to balance between normal and fury mode. Also his gun is kinda awkward to use? I know guns arent exactly the most important in this game, but theyre pretty useful at least to me. Though having someone without any weaknesses is really useful. 8. Fox Kinda the same situation with Wolf in the case that he's fun, but hard to play as. Unlike Wolf though, i eventually learned how to use him well! His reliance on counters is an interesting mechanic, and it feels nice hitting something 5 billion times. I still think he is a pretty hard character, though, and his gun is kinda confusing. I guess one mode is for power and the other is for accuracy? Idk 7. Noir From here, except for (maybe, depending on your opinions) my number 1 slot, i find everyone pretty easy to play. This even extends to the phantom thief i like the least. Shes probably one of the most simple characters to play, and I'd be lying if i said i didnt have fun with her. The fact that shes all about racking up damage with constant heavy hits is so entertaining its almost crazy.My main problem is that her gun is the worst to me, and some of the windows for combos can be....odd, to say the least. 6. Skull Fun fact, i used to not like playing as skull so much that when i got to the final boss, compared to everyone else being in the high 60s-low 70's, he was at level 58. But he's grown on me a lot! The fact that he can just tank hits without a sweat and hit like a truck is so entertaining! My main problem is that his attacks feel slow with how much you need to charge them to do good damage, and while the super armor helps it a little bit i just like my speedy characters a lot more. The gun's damage is pretty good, too, but the charge mechanic here feels kinda useless. 5. Queen From here, we have the characters i used the most and enjoyed the most. Queen hits fast and hits hard, and tears through anything weak to nuke. Her combos can be a bit confusing on how they work, especially the one where you go forwards on Johanna, but overall she is so fun to play! And her gun gets crits really often, so its fun to just quickdraw the heck out of enemies. 4. Panther Her range is sublime, she burns fire weaknesses to a crisp, and shes easy to play! What more could i want? Panther is incredibly fun to control and fight with to the point where she was a staple through nearly all of my endgame! Also her gun is a contender for one of my favorites, it rips apart enemies like paper! 3. Sophie Unlike Wolf, the other new addition to the phantom thieves is a lot easier to play for me. And how can i NOT love a character who uses yo-yos to fight? Her whole gimmick where pressing the button right as the yo-yo comes back is unique, and shes a pretty good healer too! Almost rivaling my number 1! But one of my real problems is that i cant tell what her normal special skill does, or the point of the gravity bullets. 2. Joker The leader of the bunch, you know him well, how could i not have him be near the top? He hits fast, hard, and has fun combo routes to do. His special is fun to use, especially when you get the master skill that lets you do follow up attacks, and his gun is so satisfying to charge up and destroy enemy defenses! And of course, changing personas is great as usual. So why isnt he number 1? Well..... 1. Mona Bias. Bias is why. Mona is probably another one of the hsrder characters to play, but he was so intuitive, has some of the best combos in the game, and runs CIRCLES around everyone else. Enemies weak to wind will be TERRIFIED seeing him, and its great. Even his 1 more leads into a combo, unlike every other character! While i dont like how his car has like... 0 utility early game, i dont care! His gun hits pretty much everything on screen and he's the only non-joker party member to get salvation, too. Easily my favorite character.

Yes and no. The animations and effects are different but you trigger them all in the same way. These are free casts MP/HP wise that finish any melee string by bringing out a random offensive skill or rebuff that persona knows (again for no cost).

I'm noticed that final attack from Makoto just like Monkey D. Garp using Galaxy Impact technique but lite version.
Because Joker wields the wild card, it's interesting what different Personas cast whether it's another spell or another attack.
All casts are random spells from their arsenal, as long as they can target enemies. No MP consumption though.
