Is just that I feel that the new precure series after maho are getting like worse and worse. Just waiting for the new series when it release next year. I watch from the first series to maho but also did watch youtube to follow the precure transformation and attack
It's one of the things they borrowed from the toku shows in the same TV programming block as them, IIRC. I don't recall if both Super Sentai and Kamen Rider do it or how consistent it is, but I've definitely seen it. Super Sentai also has the next team cameo in the current team's movie, IIRC, and Kamen Rider usually does a crossover movie with the prior year's Rider. It's been a while since I watched a series in any of those franchises, but they've been at this a lot longer and set the pattern for Pretty Cure.
I have seen every episode to date. Seeing these is fun to watch, teasing the next generation of PreCure. Next year, Cure Precious will pass the baton to the Hirogaru Sky PreCure.
It would be fun for the 2023 baton pass if yui went “we asked for the leader” and then sora goes “I am the leader” and then she’s like “A blue lead?” Idk I just thought it was cute

They might do something special when that happens. The "Pokémon" anime did that when Lillie got over her fear of touching Pokémon in the 1000th episode.

it goes cure lovely -> cure flora, cure flora -> cure miracle, cure miracle -> cure whip, cure whip -> cure yell, cure yell -> cure star, cure star -> cure grace, cure grace -> cure summer, cure summer -> cure precious. they only started doing baton passes in 2014, at the end of cure lovely’s season (happiness charge precure)
