He is ex ISI chief and out of favour with the establishment. So its not really a steal. All retired Pak faujis admit to the mistakes made but their current lot keeps on nevertheless on the road decided by their predecessors. 😊

Look he is IsI chief take his word with a pinch of salt; society of pak is radicalized beyond repair its out of hands from pak est. You cannot undo years of hate inculcation.
Wrt Art 370 he had no clear answer reason being it was a temporary art of Indian Constitution which is undone; Pak cant proceed in any court in the world kyuki bhaisahab instrument of accession humare hein; isliye unhone bola hum inko(Pok inhabitants ko jyada talim nahi di he nahi to humme jyada sawal puchte; its easy to suppress a violent and uneducated crowd). Wrt Afg let me tell you assets he is speaking about ( they are factions within Taliban )chiefly Haqqani group led by Siraj Uddin Haqqani if I am not mistaken. They do not believe in people to people contact unlike India; kyuki results mein time lagte hein + people are amateur at times when you can deal with leadership why deal with people; Pak US China sab wohi sochte hein. China has an advantage they have economic interest no "democracy" ye sab. Lekin debt trap ek prob h China ka. Lekin Taliban has tasted money and power and working independently inko ye dikkat he.

It was Gen Hamid Gul and Gen karamat who unleashed so called hell in kashmir and punjab, Durrani's significant role was with the Afghan soviet war pak nuke programme etc however even if Durrani engaged in such matters it was to reciprocate what RAW was doing in pak

Inviting a former DG ISI is a big deal, even if the officer's relationship with the Pakistani Deep state is not that great during the current times and also that he is currently placed under the exit control list. At the end of the day the man was at the helm of pakistani intelligence once upon a time which makes him one of those very few who knew Pakistan in great depth.
The officer I must say was very conservative in his approach, but the interview I must say was graceful! Defensive Offense is hands down one of the channels which gives a good world wide view in India! Thanks

But honestly, I feel that the USA had deliberately maintained that policy of not having an exit plan. That way, they keep creating the mess and keep military industrial complex thriving.
