Hello there and cheers mate. Sharpening is a useful thing obviously. I have a couple saws. Smallest is ms 271 and with the way i keep my saw up and the adjustments on my chain the 50 cc saw would appear to cut with twice the ease of either of those saws
Try running a shorter bar on the 391. I have found it likes a 20 inch better than it does the 25 it came with... I have also found that if I do run the 25 inch bar just to use a full skip chain.
@@jameshancock18 r you rich mfers muffler modding and adjusting your carbs? my ms290 runs like a raped ape. i don't understand how a 55cc 'homeowner' saw runs worse than a 50cc 'pro' saw?? bigger combustion chamber is always more power. what are you doing wrong? i'd put my 290 farmboss up against your 261 or even 391, for benchmark purposes, anyday
Avec la 391 il plante pas une seul fois les dents avec la 261 il fait que sa il aurait fini 5 secondes après si il l'avait pas fait la 391 il y a pas photo elle marche mieux que la 261
@@TommyBravo Or you just don't know how to sharpen it perfectly. Trust me I can make a 271 cut faster than a 261 cm with a new chain.. Or a 261 cutting faster than 362.

Would love to see the video mate! Sounds like you hold secrets that could be worth millions to the chain manufacturers.
Test is torque, speed is nothing alone.
That 261 had work done on it
Only muffler mod.

It has a 20" on it
Всё зависит от наточенной цепи и от твёрдости дерева и конечно от мастерства
I can run 20 inch bar buried on the ms 271 at 9,000 plus feet in elevation all day long and it screams.
For air I bet 😂
@@TommyBravo😅😅
as expected the boat anchor 391, is a boat anchor
It's truly remarkable how bad that saw really is. It weighs so much! No power and feels cheap...
I bought a 391 new and hated it, sold it a couple months later, absolutely gutless
@@PurpleNovember 261 and 500i are my go to ground saws, superb machines

New sub
My chains will pull themselves at any direction with zero pushing on the saw.
I hand tune my saws and mix my own fuel.
Put a 18" bar on 391
Whats going on here?!
Something about the 261 isn't stock.
Muffler mod only

3 eight vs 325
Нужно наточить цепочку
Trust me it was sharp... It's because the MS391 is just that bad of a saw

the ms 391 is a very poor design
