This stream made me realize how funny it would be if Sonic Team just Trans'd Big's gender and never openly acknowledged it. Like next game Big is hanging out with Amy and Rouge on a "Girls Night" and throughout the entire game nobody is like "OMG Big's a woman now" they're just like "Hey did you see Big's new dress? Yeah she looks good in it." just never misgendering her.

I've said it before, but the sadest part of Gamma's story is that...noone knows. None of the characters know him or his story or of his sacrifice. Amy has no idea why she never sees her robot friend again, noone knows how he rebelled against Eggman in his own, small way. He is destroyed and forgotten, just as he wished.
also, the final boss of his story is Gamma's own husband, if the fact the other bird being pink mean it's supposed to be a girl. This also means that technicallyGamma's a girl.
Also, Omega is also most liekly powered by a bird and it's never brought up.
tbh considering the Eggpawns aren't powered by animals (except for Sonic Lost World), i think by the time Omega was made, Eggman changed a power source

The saddest part about gamma's story is that the animals are just the power source. The robots themselves must be destroyed to free the animals, meaning Gamma did kill his brother and soon after died. I really wish we got more stuff like gamma's story in sonic.

Iâd definitely recommend checking it out to at least read the Zombot Virus arc because DAMNâŠâŠ it really is insane
The recent arc with surge and kit has been really fun as well,eggman truly shines and itâs amazing.we still have a lot to go for this arc and Iâm super excited

I think it was a bit of a stretch for him to say that most mainline sonic games are bad, I can only think of boom and 06 and the rest of the 2010s era games were mediocre, although people have had this opinion for a while now when there weren't even that many bad games to begin with

as the number 1 e-102 gamma fan i can say that saltydkdan is pretty salty if you catch my drift
Gamma's in my top 5 favorite characters of the whole series, simply because his story and character development bookended itself in a single game. Sure, we see them come back in Shuffle and was recently added to Speed Battle, but the original character has been long gone.
The funny thing about it all is that Eggman must've loved Gamma in some way, despite not knowing their ultimate fate, because he used Gamma's body and paint style with Beta's twin blasters to mass produce E-1000s in Sonic Adventure 2, while also building Chaos Gamma in Sonic Battle.

I remember gamma's storyline also made me really emotional, but I was so young I didn't understand completely and just thought Gamma sacrificed himself for the birds (instead of him being one as well) and cried when it happened.

They are very easy to grow attached to and even though the writing isn't always great or even good, and the newest games are half decent at best and god awful at the worst, it doesn't take away from the concept of these characters that people love so much.
