Indian cricket has done the succession planning extremely well. In the first decade of this century we had Sehwag, Gambhir, Dravid, SRT, Ganguly and Laxman. These gentleman left we had Dhawan, Rohit, pujara, Kohli, Rahane who got transitioned pretty well..players know how to pass the baton..same will happen now

This is in response to information given by Dr that Dravid refused honorary doctorate, I would like to add, if my memory serves me correctly that Combined Universities team of Pakistan refused to play under the Captaincy of Javed Miandad, who was a terrific batsman but not a University passout. I give credit to your University students. I think this happened just after Pakistani had come back from New Zealand tour, long time ago
