Exactly. It's quite a dangerous double edged sword; there is no barometer to measure how extreme social ideologies have became. We need to measure this by results and actions, such as rioting, discrimination, segregation, etc. All of which the left are using ad nauseam. 10 years ago I would say I was a proud liberal, but as the goal posts have consistently changed, I might as well be a GOP flag flying cowboy in places like Seattle or LA, where I work.

Ah yes, 'history is written by leftists' (including democrats er liberals, despite them being extremely different). I think one of three things happened; the leftists (moved farther left to address rightist moving farther right, the rightists moved farther right, or each side percieves a change, possibly partly causing the shift on both sides. I don't think this is a 'leftists bad' thing, but I think we're all stupid.
Also @DrewBias_95 out here actually sounding like a nazi goddamn u ight bro?
I do feel democrats are being forced into a more business friendly old republican model due to corporations.
Basically, democrats try to pass a bill that partly effects corporations via better worker conditions, a higher wage (pulling an amazon), etc, corporations threaten to cut funds from them (they also fund repubs to get them to release restrictions or do the same thing), the bill gets cutback massively to meet corporate demands whilst keeping their voters happy, corporations are pleased and leave.
By the way, I'm not a Democrat nor a repub. I do thing the democratic system is flawed, not to any ideology but to the demands of corporations, and I do think stock buybacks and the abolition of the gold standard have lowered the real economy whilst the economy prospers, also contributing to corporations.
I don't see why Republicans fight so hard to get their way when democrats, despite having farther leftist thought (apparently, I see rightists and leftists making that same argument against eachother as dumb), end up mimicking the actions of Republicans in the Teddy Roosevelt era than any form of leftist policy.
Fun fact: political ideology is unrelated to age (except bottom left anarchists if you squint alot)

Gay marriage? They're all fine with it now. Christian evangelical nonsense? They're fine them doing them now and other people can do what they want too.
Are you talking about the warmongering the right used to call for? Because it was the left becoming war apologists and the right becoming anti-war that pushed me over to this side.
How about mindless trust in authorities that they loved pushing almost my entire life? Nope. Distrustful of the state, the intelligence apparatus, the billionaire elites, the military-industrial complex, warpig press, and the lying corporations too.
And they're moving further in this direction too. Have you seen a right winger (who isn't a cop) with one of those cringe Blue Line flags the past couple years? Nope.
Here's the truth of the matter, leftist. This is a party flip. The left loves the corporations, the state, the war machine, and trusts the media/government/intel apparatus/war machine implicitly.
I mean, we're literally watching the workers of the world unite in REAL TIME and what does the 'left' do? It gasps, affronted that the poors would dare, would very dare to forget their place in society.
And then they demand their king call in the military to deal with the 'insurrectionist' peasant uprising.

But that's okay, people defending these ideologies use the new other n word all the time to condemn what they disagree with. They don't teach about the Russian leftist authoritarianism that killed about 20 to 50 million people last century for this reason. could you elaborate, your point of view?
because what left mean seem to change so fast i am not sure what you mean.
IF it is in relation to conservatism, of course in the end it's the only posiibility by definition, because the right is, "it is working right now don't change too much", while the left is "i think changing that and that, and that and apply those 'untested ideas' will somehow make it work better".
----'better' is the ennemy of 'good'----
IF it is for the removal of responsability, defenetly yes, because weaker men don't want as much responsabilities, and as technologie made life easier, it removed some of the pressure to stive forward, therefor mechanicly men became weaker,
i admit that i am probably mentaly weaker(will to fight, not computing power) then the average men in 1914, and i think that most people are.
but at some point if nobody want responsability and IA are not ready to take care of them yet, if they just keep going further left then society will colapse , creating harder time, creating strong men, who will want responsability, and the circle will start again from the beginning.
      dictator(one man all responsability)>>>>>concil(multiple people)>>>democracy(everyone)>>>>COLLAPSE>>>>dictatorship

      Left-regulations to Right-liberty: no.
Left-change to Right-status quo: yes, but only because it's so broad and also contradictory.
Everything inevitably changes, so this lacks proper direction and goals to use as a metric.
Democracy, Monarchy, Dictatorship, High authority, and low authority have all been *left wing* at some point or another, so it's not a good measurement.

What the radical left do is so dishonest, they presume that their ideas are moderate, and based on that they assume that conservatives and anyone on the left of Hillary Clinton is ""extremist"", which don't make sense for a lot of reasons including the fact that the majority of the people are conservative, so by definition they can't be "extreme", only radical.

The ‘extremism’ of liberalism and conservatism depends on a lot of things.
Conservatism in itself isn’t that extreme, it’s about as extreme as what we call liberalism.
But some liberals and conservatives have special economic and cultural policies that make them more or less extreme.
So it’s a very hard question to answer, especially since the meaning ‘liberalism’ is extremely vague, and so is conservatism.

They WANT to do good, they're just being misled by the minority of evil, scumbag motherfuckers using those peoples good nature to mask their own evil doing.

Why do you figure people migrate to Germany and not to Belarus?
Also, yeah, the populist uprising bothers me more then anything; populists are not conservatives. Good conservatives want to regulate change and keep migration low and slow, which I understand their motives of. Populists are by nature reactionary and have no real political vision; they only want might for themselved and "their people", because appearently they got stuck in the 19th century.
