I am just floored by how great of a concept to introduce it was to be like "why would chainsaws be able to erase things?" "well maybe the reason why was erased as well"
The theory that's been goin around is that since chainsaws were originally invented to aid laboring mothers, it makes it very ironic that that very tool is instead being used to erase the existence of things, instead of helping them coming into existence.
You could call it lazy, but I actually kinda love that explanation. So many things in this world could have different uses but because of chainsaw man, may have been forgotten like what hybrids are.
It gets crazier when you think about the history of chainsaw too. The original job of the chainsaw was to shred away the pelvic area to assist in women giving labor. A purpose ALSO erased from time

1. She's never seen outside her school uniform. She insisted that Asa would wear her uniform back in the prison arc so as to not raise suspicion.
2. She's also noticeably shorter than a lot of the girls in the series, including Asa.
3. Her own name, or rather, the name she chooses to go with.

She needs both War and Black Chainsaw man to prevent the prophecy and the only way to get Black Chainsaw man is to break Denji's contract with Pochita by ruining his life like what Makima did. This was all part of Fami's plan, both her and Barem have been working together to slowly dismantle Denji

Gojo vs sukuna had to end with Gojo dying, it wouldn’t make sense anyway else, and that’s really the thing I had a problem with that fight of JJk. (Gege had to put a spin on that fight so it wouldn’t be predictable, but he’s no Fujimoto, so it ended the way I think me, and most people knew from the get go, and me and others were disappointed by that, the fight was good, but the weight of gore, and emotional tension wasn’t there.)
Ironically, this is a fucked up roundabout:
Denji killed, and ate makima, and in the end, he pretty much ate Nayuta, the same way that Makima died.
It’s a fucked up karma that came back up, a type of curse that would take everything from him.
As this looks, Pochita might be coming out again, and now, denji has nothing left anymore, and if this cycle continues, I think that Ada would just take her place.
Poor dude has nothing left but pochita, and I don’t even thing that his will to live will stay if this keeps going on.

Also, you know when Yoru remembered Asa kissing Denji, which led to the alleyway scene? Nayuta put a spell on her so she wouldn't remember. The only reason Yoru suddenly remembered was because Nayuta's spell was void, which meant Nayuta was killed during the handjob scene.

Asa/Yoru remembering the kiss at the apartment, which Nayuta had erased the memory of, to me is a clue that Nayuta was killed right around the time Asa/Yoru had a hand down Denji's pants.

I just don't think they'd kill a character this important off screen. And it may just be an error, but the mole under Nayuta's left eye is missing in the close up. I could just be coping though, but there's definitely ways she could be brought back.

With all the "maybe Fuji forgot about the mole" comments i'd like to add that unless the drawings were simplified or the hair got in the way, the mole under her eye is almost always drawn in, this holds true all the way until her previous last appearance in 155, her head is also drawn as if she had died a while ago while the alley moment implies she died recently. I think the theory has more merit than given credit for, regardless A MAN'S COPE NEVER DIES🗣🗣🔥🔥 MEOWY AND NAYUTA ARE ALIVE!!!💯 (killing nayuta also seems like a weird move from fami since that could just add an unpredictable variable to what seems like a very unpredictable situation already)

Fujimoto really put everyone reading this chapter on their toes. I read this yesterday and after reading I didn’t have the words to express what I was feeling. We all knew this was gonna happens cuz it was hypothesized by pretty much everyone and yet seeing it was truly heavy.
Everyone in the restaurant was shocked except for Fami and Barem since they both planned this. Denji had no idea he was eating his lil sister which is what Barem wanted. All of this to bring back the real Pochita which requires Denji to be unhappy and feared. The man has *NOTHING* to lose anymore.
Fami is still silly but very sinister as well. Too bad for Nayuta.
I am unsubscribing out of necessity as my experience of the current CSM chap was ruined due to the thumbnail. Love your vids but I gotta make a choice to avoid future damage. Good luck

I think one of the more interesting things brought to the table was the idea that chainsaws may have had a purpose in erasing names and concepts but were forgotten because of chainsaw man’s power.
When I was rereading through earlier chapters, ESPECIALLY during the control devil arc, something stuck out to me. Makima says, “There used to be four other things that would happen when a life form reaches its end besides death” meaning at some point, Pochita had either purposely or inadvertently made the Death Devil as powerful as she is which may come into play when she makes an appearance.
Can u tell me in which chapter she says that? Cuz I don't remember it nor have I ever seen anyone talk about this

Like many, I’m dreading Denji’s reaction to Nayuta’s decapitated head, it will be heartbreaking.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he vows to never become chainsaw man again as that led to her death. That would create conflict between Yoru and Asa, as Yoru wants to fight chainsaw man and will likely be more hostile to Denji, and Asa will try to stop her from trying to harm Denji.
These are only my predictions, I could be wrong and the next chapter has Denji in complete denial of her death, you never know with Fujimoto.

I always thought that the lynching scene was a good enough sendoff for her. It left the seed for Denji to reflect on the perception of himself and allowed to ground him to the reality of human connection by saving him from the mob, even if it was for a brief moment. Now it's just Barem using her corpse as a tool but whatever comes after, I'm sure Denji will think of those last moments when Nayuta carried him out.

It's funny how Fujimoto will kinda let the audience rest for a while, let the characters just chill and be together and a big part of the audience takes that as nothing happening. And Chainsaw man falling off. Then he has something happen. Everyone rushes back and loses their minds. It's like I can hear him all the way from Japan saying "What? I thought you wanted something to happen? What about 2 weeks ago when you didn't care?" The man is diabolical but I can't blame him. How many times does he have to do this before people get that this isn't the wacky, haha, funtime, power level variety hour. When these characters fight it's a nightmare.
