Prime said what he said publicly, and she addressed it publicly with class and gave reason. Let's not forget he used to beat women back in the day, and it was covered up. But that's another story
@@Yoyo-kg7pk I feel u. We all make mistakes. We don’t have to forget, but we can let it go for our own sanity (especially if that person no longer is doing wrong). In this situation it seems Ms. Sanders hasn’t let their past marriage go. I can understand if she was to say her decision was not “stupid” (Because that’s what Coach Prime said about Shelomi decision to jump the portal). But she said “he is not present.” Like he’s a dead beat dad (connotation of it), defamation of character. That didn’t sit well with me and others. Just doesn’t look good on her part.
Reading Coach Prime’s book, you see the evidence of the “work” he’s put in with his family and community. It’s commendable (especially if he had a past). I hate to see negativity is all.
I respect Coach Sanders as a coach but he should not have stated that Shelomi’s decision to leave was a dumb decision. That should have been a private conversation. Shelomi has the right to transfer to another school and get the opportunity to play the sport that she loves. As a parent, we need to support our children on their life’s journey. Her mother was being protective. That’s all. I wish the young lady the best.
One thing about Coach is he is not going to sugar coat things, especially when it comes to his children. The way Shelomi decided to enter the portal was dumb, that's what he was saying. She did not play at all last year, and if she wanted to transfer, she should have done it then. As mother being protective. I don't know about that one.
He never said it was dumb for her to transfer. He said it was dumb for her to get in the transfer portal without a school already in place. I'm pretty sure he had a talk with his daughter face to face.

@@kevinharrison461 with Travis, he just came out of high school, and there were a lot of schools wanted him to play. He chose JSU because of Coach Prime and he also wanted to play for him. As for Shilo, he was at South Carolina. He liked being at JSU, but he had some items that was stolen in his car and at the time. If JSU gave Coach and his staff a better salary, maybe he would have stayed, but CU was a better opportunity
