My first BIG Dynasty in College Football 25 is with the Buffalo Bulls, a 1 star program that has never been ranked higher than #23 and has only won 3 Bowl Games. A big challenge is ahead as I aim to build this program into a college football powerhouse. Recruiting will be a major challenge and the lack of resources will make it tough to rebuild the Bulls. But I've been waiting 11 years for this game, and I'm ready for my newest Dynasty.
In this Dynasty I will play on Heisman difficulty. I will be playing every single game with no simulating. Not every game will get its' own video, but no significant action or important storylines will be missed. I plan to spend many years trying to build the Bulls into the best team I can.

I think this episode really confirmed the harsh reality that this program is still 3-4 years away from playing at a higher competitive level. I think more double game episodes like this would would help that flow, but regardless I'm here for the long haul! Thanks for making the best sports content on youtube Cane! Keep up the great work! I see so many series that have the same concept where the creator gets the team into the playoffs in like the second year, it's just ridiculous and ruins it for me. This series feels like someone legitimately taking over Buffalo and running into realistic struggles. I'd love to see more content like this, but very few people have Cane's charisma and actually bother learning opposing players names.

That 3rd and 30 is just a back-breaker and really just representative of these last 2 seasons. Do so much good work for 2/3rds of the game and then just ripped apart for the rest.

The defense is such hell against em in this game and even worse for offensive purposes but not for your helping against the opposing team. I'm surprised Cane hasnt thrown his controller cause man is getting brutalized even despite his qualms

Also Cane, please recognize cover 2 😭 almost every time you have a corner route against cover 2, if you throw it, it’ll be a completion (this happened on the int at the end).

At 3rd and 30 you need to go prevent or have the underneath zones play the sticks. You had 3 useless underneath zone players sitting at 10 yards of depth.

I have found that running some old school heavy sets out of the i formation and ace is a great compliment to pistol that really helps when you are struggling to establish the run. Having the bigger bodies with better run block is good for getting the edge on those outside runs and when they seal that up you can hammer them with iso and zone. Even better is the passing from these formations as it forces them to put different personnel out there allowing you to break off big plays in addition to grinding them down.

Game against Toledo, compared to how last year went, shows the progression/potential of this team. Not there yet but so so so close
Like you said, there was a man open in the middle of the field on that last INT, but I think if you threw the checkdown to the RB there was a legitimate chance to score. His man was like 10 yards away and everybody else was cleared out of the area
Yeah I don't think I picked up the blitzing slot. Sperling could have done damage there. On those 4th downs I often look away from routes not going to the sticks, but that was a bad read.
I think my high-school team can beat this team lol. Great series

You think buffalo is bad. Kent state has 28 seniors, but also, they have about 16 players who have coach prestige at a B- as a deal breaker. I lost all my good players and have a 70 player team in year 2. It's bananas.

It broke my heart when McCray left me to go be WR 5 at Notre Dame. I went 9-4 in year 2 tho because I ran Garcia into the ground with almost 500 touches 😅😅
@sullyproductions5757 garcia left me year 1. My best receiver is a 70. Luckily, the backup rb had great offseason training and went to an 83. I'm somehow 8-1 in year 2 but have only gotten 6 3-star commits. Nobody wants to come here. That and i have set rules to where i can only get from my pipeline or recruits who are interested.
@@bustermcthunderstick7181 yea my WRs were so bad I had to put the backup RB as my slot. I got lucky and found some WRs that nobody was interested in late in the recruiting cycle and one of them (a 3 star with star development) jumped from a 68 to a 84 over the offseason.
Yea my recruiting class was terrible during the season because of my coach prestige but in the off-season it went up and I was able to get a couple of transfers to come and make it look semi respectable with a 14 player class

I like the 4-2-5 (big nickel), 4-4 combo instead of 4-3. Similar concepts and play styles for each major position. Your two SS just get replaced by OLB. Everything else stays the same.

Miami being bad in your dynasty is crazy because in mine they are so good (usually ranked near bottom of top 25 by end of season) and winning the MAC. And being a Miami alum I love seeing them do well, so it’s been disappointing seeing them do bad in your dynasty
33:31 pause it and if u read the defense it’s easy to see square is wide open and the guy u chose u can see the cb breaking towards ur intended receiver which also means there is no one outside and if u we’re looking right and didn’t see square u could also have thrown to a wide open rb who also had an easy first down. The man covering him was a lb 10 yards away it would have been an easy pitch and catch and only needing 6 yards would be a simple definite first down. Gotta read the defense and stop deciding where ur going with the ball pre play.

Cane, if you hadn't noticed or read about it yet, you can get insta commits eith any school. Idk the chances but if you offer while being 1st on their board, there is a chance they'll insta. So for no offer guys or schools you think you can beat, wait to offer unless you need to like to try to in the top 8 or if you want to do a visit. Ive had 2 in my UTEP over 2 years and got 2 on my new Vandy during the preseason.
I'm watching this while watching UB playing on ESPN+.

Cane I really think you’d like using classic passing. I feel that gives you the best option for different trajectory of passes compared to any of the meters.
I've tested the mechanics out and I do like placement a lot. I spent some more time after this episode playing with the trajectories and think I have a better grasp now.

28:45 running a 4-3 defense set at the 3 yd line is absolutely insane and why you give up so many rushing yards. You should focus on running defense sets that have something like (4-3 Multiple) it'll give you defenses that can utilize many different sets in one package.
I think that is the kicker that transferred to Bama.

Cane how do you feel about wear and tear at 55? If you’re still not seeing “enough” I recommend bumping up stamina to 80. The players don’t disappear and you get even more rotation. You also don’t see the cpu running out of stamina like you used to.
Cane when it comes to passing I recommend using the passing meter over placement and accuracy it allows you to place the ball better after adjusting to it allows for those nice drop in the bucket passes and those over the middle passes
