There is one thing you forgot to mention, it says that while the antagonists in this adventure are not Baroness and Megatron it says for a more experienced group you could just replace Fusion and Chameleon 's stat blocks with Megatron and Baroness.
Yes true, although I think it’s clearly meant to be more of a starter experience. But you are right!
If you ever want to see a great example of a COBRA like organization making its own Transformer style bots, check out the COILS faction from Traders Galaxy's Bot War miniatures game.
Awesome I’ll check them out - been hankering to paint something up!
This might play well with a custom sound board. Battle cries, a few sounds, and the scene breaks. To bad Starscream and Cobra Commander do not seem to be in this module. Syncing both yelling retreat could be a good gag.
Hahaha yes either of those two would be super fun to GM!
The fact the character sheets are scanned via a QR code means, if you played this on the day of, every person would be on the phone the entire time. Can’t imagine something more distracting.
Agreed - wish they were easier to find. When I played, we had printouts but I think they were the pregens from the core games.
Are you going to write a GI JOE adventure for GURPS or Savage Worlds? Cause that would be cool.
Not sure I'm enough of a GI Joe geek to pull that off, but that might be fun to try.
It will be fun. You'll love it. Let us know when it's ready. Ok real talk now: Do what inspires you. That's my best GM's advice too. @@1ShotJC
I am new to these, and dont really know how to play, will it explain as it goes, or is there a video you recommend that explains it
New to tabletop RPGs? While most game books these days do a good job getting new players up to speed, watching some actual play sessions is a great way to get familiar. I love the Arkham Files podcast -- it's Call of Cthulhu but is wonderful.
