Another great video from you 👍 We were actually there last Wednesday filming, it's such a beautiful place. You walked straight past the Mother Shipton and Blind Jack statues in the Market Place!
Lots of plaques to read Neil 👍😂. Love the castle 🏰, views, viaduct and river. Mellow, thought provoking music. Lovely. 👍👏👏
Many thanks!
My late father used to say to us x5 sisters and a brother " when in town keep your window down " meaning to look around all the time as you don't know what is under your feet

Great video Neil we were hoping you would cover Knaresborough it is a beautiful little place and being an hour away a regular haunt of ours you picked the perfect day really the riverside does get stupidly busy in the summer.
Hopefully you have Wetherby on your radar for a film another lovely little town and the bonus of free parking by the river unheard of these days.
Keep the videos coming
Martin
Thanks Martin
Stay tuned - got lots on the way including the one you mentioned!
The sound of your boots reminds me of " hob nail boots "
Yeh I'm changing footwear soon!
Another one of the best places to live in the UK....as we did for a few years. Subbed and enjoying your walks. 👍
Awesome, thank you!
I was there for a week in 2013 and loved it, so I was back for two weeks the next year. I'm so happy to see that there aren't too many changes since then. I found September to be a perfect month to visit. The weather was the same as in my part of Canada, kids were back in school, leaves still on the trees, lower hotel rates, and not much rain. Unfortunately, I've only been able to go back through videos like yours. So much appreciated for the memories.
You’re welcome
More to come
There is a more in-depth riverside walk next week here
Knaresborough is just down the road, I was shocked you walked past the famous Blind Jack bench in the market square and the amazing pub of that name. He was a famous engineer and road builder. Did Mother Shipton get a look in ? 🤔
Always good to see the obligatory DPD van 🤣🤣
They’re everywhere 🤣🤣
And I enjoyed the soft music played 😉
😮😮😮🤣
The different parts of Yorkshire north, South, east & west, have different colour roses, like Lancaster
