- CORRECTION In the video I said the combined fuel consumption is 49.6mpg or 4.7l/100km. I made a mistake here as I did not realise that the converter site that I used translated the US mpg instead of the imperial mpg to l/100km. The correct figures are 49.6mpg = 5.7l/100km.
Hello everyone! As far as British cars go, most of them on my channel are on MINIs. I only have a couple of Vauxhalls on my channel, hence when I was able to film this UK-spec Astra a few months back, I went for it! This is an Astra with the 1.4 Turbo engine and 6-speed manual in SRi trim. Enjoy!

I used to have a 62 plate model of this car. It was a silvery blue colour. Had a 2 L CDTI four-cylinder diesel engine. It was fast. I loved it. But sadly we had to get rid of it in 2018 and we got a 66 plate Insignia instead. Which was then replaced by a 2018 Kia Sportage at the end of January 2019.
I'm getting one of these as my next car. The one I'm after is the 1.6 SRI.
I have vauxhall astra 2016. How to turn off radio while connecting android auto? I set gmap. It gives instructions for few seconds. Then radio comes in. Please tell how to resolve this?g

I have this car, hate it. There's multiple blind spots, centre console is far too cluttered and the engine is terrible. Getting rid of it soon.

@@Retrox1989 depends on the model of Astra you had if you had a Astra from 2000 to 2010 then yes the Astras were shit in 2014 Vauxhall changed the Astra completely and that’s why every one has one of these

this engine is 1.4 turbo not VVT...VVT not fitted to turbo engine only non turbo engine...dose not have VVT control valve, if this engine are VVT should have VVT solenoid control valve fitted, located near the front of the valve cover next to timming belt on left side of the engine, at 5:53 there is showing no VVT fitted
