Infusion d’Iris was my favorite for years, but may have recently been topped by Mizensir’s Bois Irridescent. It is so lovely - powdery, sparkling and ethereal. Definitely worth getting a sample. A few other Iris favorites are Chanel 1957 and Van Cleef & Arpels Bois d’Iris. Enjoy!

I love OH LA LA to and it's very polarising scent indeed!
I don't have many Iris scents but could straight away think of Junoon noir ( dupe for Dama Bianca ) and I love that one ( has orris apparently 😅)
Junoon Oud actually is not that bad on me now. It’s ok 😀 Orris is not that screaming anymore 🤣 You are right it’s heavy in Iris.. I think that’s the difference with Dama Bianca. DM is more vanilla..

@@ScentualP Yes I do! It’s really good but I prefer the Givenchy Gentleman a little bit more. They are similar. DHP older version is better in my opinion and it’s close to Givenchy Gentleman Reserve Privee (such a long name) 😂🫨

Good morning Joanna ❤ I love your channel and i enjoy content ! I have similar taste and nose to the perfume you recommend. But i have to mention to you something what i think it’s very possible. 15 years ago I fly to my country with Emirates, and i think you was my flight attendant. I remember asking what perfume that lady was wearing bcuz she smells divine. it was Givenchy “Very Irresistible”. This perfume stay with me and become my signature scent for many years, and always remain me that sweet, kind beautiful flight attendant who recommended them to me. I still wonder if that was you. The flight was from NYC to Dubai. ❤

I forgot about an important Iris addition: Iris Crush from the Jimmy Choo private line. Supposedly closest you can get to the discontinued and sought after Lipstick on by Maison Margiela. It’s a heavy boudoir Iris fragrance.

I just purchased La Fin Du Monde by ELDO and it has iris in it and it’s very lovely. Very unisex, has a note of popcorn and iris is very nicely done in it.
I second that. It’s magnificent and actually by Quentin Bische. The gunpowder makes it so unique

Prada Infusion d'Iris made me fall in love with iris. I've since added Bois d'Iris by Van Cleef & Arpels to my collection. And am seriously thinking about adding Iris Malikhan by Maison Crivelli.
Prada Iris for me is definitely the epitome of a soft and gentle iris. I so wanted to get Bois d Iris now after all the recommendations I read here.. I suggest you try Iris Malakhan first 😉

Hallo Joanna, I like Etoile d’une nuit from Goutal, it’s a very elegant and powdery scent. I’ve also heard that Shalimar Millesime Iris from Guerlain shall be beautiful but I didn’t’ try yet.

Iris Malikhan & Oh La La are my 2 favs! Also love Guerlain Iris Torrefie and Penhaligon's Mr Thompson. I just decluttered Sonic Flower and Shalimar Iris (too much ambroxan). Oh and I just purchased Lost Alice & Loubirouge, amazing scents!

Love Malikhan, Shalimar, Loubirouge & just tried Lost Alice..it’s a love. Also just purchased a full bottle of Lancome Le vie est Belle IRIS (which I’ve literally hated ALL of the LVEB) up until this gorgeous perfection ❤
Just found your channel because I'm yet again looking up "iris perfume" on CZcams. I fell in love with the iris note after buying an iris-scented body wash.. I've been searching high & low for the perfect iris perfume to blind buy. I ended up buying Iris Porcelana from Ex Nihilo a few days ago. A lovely iris and sandalwood scent, it has violet leaf but I don't know how violet leaf smells like. Longevity so far is mediocre I think but I also suspect I was just noseblind to it. I think you should try it!

Siesta by Ramon Monegal perfumes is my favorite Iris I got this year. It's a woody vanilla with Iris & honey. 1725 Casanova was my second. Despite its name it's unisex & is basically a lavender soap with Iris scent. Found a great deal on it at a discounter

I love buttery iris! Iris Shot is on my must-try list! I love Tiffany Intense in the designer range. I recently discovered SHL Panthea Iris and Mr Thompson from Penhaligon's. They are also beautiful!. Please check them out!
If you love buttery iris, you have to try Iris Shot. It’s the most buttery of them all 😊I didn’t know SHL has Iris fragrance. I’ll definitely check both of your recommendations😀
I love Iris de Champs by Houbigant. Very clean and rich smelling. Old money aesthetic.

Just sampled the new Iris Pallida by Guerlain, and it's so beautiful! Sprayed it on and after a few minutes I was smelling something incredible, and it was Iris Pallida. Guerlain has another iris that is poetry in perfume: a classic called Apres L'Ondee (After the Rain). It truly does smell like the air after it's just rained! Love it. Finally, the first perfume I ever bought from Frederic Malle was Iris Poudre by the legendary perfumer Pierre Bourdon. Another iris masterpiece, IMHO. 🥰
Wow these all sound ethereal and beautiful. 😍 I haven’t tried any of those you mentioned. My list is getting longer. I feel like Iris perfumes are royalties go to scents haha

Most of my fave Iris perfumes were already recommended yet I’d like to mention a few more: Iris de Syracuse by Boucheron, Eternity Intense by Calvin Klein (it’s better after sitting for a bit, it’s rather strong on the carrot seed too, but I’m crazy for the strong makeupiness of it), Juliette Has a Gun - Lipstick Fever - very modern take on the makeupy perfume idea, I also actually love the La Vie Est Belle L’extrait - Iris and oud, Trussardi - Aperitivo Milanese Porta Nuova - iris and amaretto 😋. From other people’s recommendations I approve ELDO La Fin Du Monde especially, Shalimar Iris, and Van Cleef -Bois d’Iris. Enjoyed your Iris video so much. I’m an Iris girl all the way.
I really appreciate this list. I agree with La vie Est Belle L’extrait 👌 quite unique and long lasting too. I want to try everything you mentioned. I almost included here Frederic Malle Lipstick Rose but I think it’s more of 🥀.

Hi Joanna, Iris Cendré by Naomi Goodsir is the most affecting iris perfume I have ever smelled on my skin. I feel cold when I wear it. It is a true composition of artistry. Iris Cendré also affects me emotionally, though of course fragrances are very personal. Your reaction smelling Iris Cendré would be interesting

Actually po kahit hindi fresh as long as it's NOT something like Nirvana Black, hindi ko po medyo gusto amoy ng heavy lipstick o vintage powdered bomb gaya ni Oscar De La Renta. Salamat 🙏
Hello dear! 😊Powdery yet fresh? I think the safest bet is PRADA d’ IRIS as mentioned in the video. It’s easily accessible as well in any perfume shop so you can try first. Let me know if it works for you 😊
