I wont get maximum distance with under arm feeds to the batsman because the batsman has to put all the power in himself but when ur hitting against a fast bowler the ball is going to ping off the bat a lot harder because its your bat swing power combined with the pace on the ball from a quick bowler, thats why hits in games go over 100 meters sometimes. The england boys did a similar thing at lords but they used a bowling machine to put speed on the ball and the hits were going way into the stands.
The thing is a lot of the distance will be the momentum of the fast travelling ball bouncing off of the bat, so this was kind of more difficult than normal batting
