- Hey everyone! Here is a little tutorial on how to make Chiaki Nanami's SDR2 Super Dangan Ronpa 2 cosplay cat bag. My sister will be cosplaying Nanami in future videos...we have had a horrible mishap with the Dangan Ronpa cosplay video (I'll explain in the next video) HAPPY NEW YEAR! Otakyun not at all, it actually sticked together quite well. I wasn't able to order it in time for the con so i had to sew it. This helped a lot.

I'm cosplaying Chiaki this February, and I couldn't find a tutorial at all last year for the bag, so I was just going to wing it. :'D But then I found this! This is so helpful, and even though I haven't made my bag yet, this tutorial was a huge help!

Okay, this comment was from a year ago, so I don't know if this is still relevant for you. But if you take a long thin strip of fabric from the fabric you used to make the bag, fold the side into each other and sew where they overlap, you'll have a string.
Once you do that, to lace it into the bag.
To do that, first you need to sew your bag over so that there is an area that is wide enough to get your string through.
Next, you'll want to take a safety pin, larger ones are easier to use, pin it into the string and push it through the opening. The pin will make the movement easier.

what kind of fabric did you use for the pink parts?

Two questions. First, how much fabric did you get and how much did this cost overall to make? And second, how did you string the tie into the bag?
I bought one yard of pink fabric for the exterior and one yard of the patterned fabric for the interior. I'm not sure how much my supplies were overall but I'm assuming it had to be under $20. Of course, it depends were you go. To get the string in to the bag I had to fold the top of the bag and make a cut down the middle. (That is where the string will be) Now that you've made the cut, fold it over the string and sew it down. (Make sure you don't accidentally sew in to the string!) Hope this helps! :)

How did you get the string through the bag?
You can do it really easily with a safety clip :^D just attach it at the end, and thread it through the thingy lol. Not Coco, but I hope this helps xS
