OK So, lots going on here.
While the contents of this fight may not make sense in the context of Undertale, I looked at it from a gameplay perspective, and decided it was the perfect opportunity to include a little bit of each of the game modes I had been coding up for UKSRTALE. Yes, that means the soul colors are different intentionally, you do not need to point this out in comments - the souls are not representing the humans that fell underground anymore, but rather the gameplay styles that the player has learned.
Firstly, no, this is not impossible, though it might be one of the hardest charts on my channel now, I can still pass it (it's me playing in the video).
Flowey's sprites took FOREVER to put together. I had a sprite sheet with 999999 pieces and I had to hand place and animate them all to get this to work.
Yes, that's my face that sometimes appears inside Flowey's TV.
GREEN soul's yellow arrows took forever to code.
The savestate game actually warps the chart back to where it was when he saved it (signified by the onscreen message)
The soul microgames are where you go to lose all your points. I lost 15% through taking hits in the games, I actually hit 86% of the steps.

This file is a part of UKSRTALE. As such, there is no download provided at present. UKSRTALE release date tentative, but either FALL 2016 or EARLY 2017 date is most likely.
Maybe certain channels... such as AzuriteReaction... may get to sample it early :P

he's intended to be a "fuck you" boss with almost unavoidable attacks, but it's mitigated by the fact that your HP bar is lying to you -- even though you're taking a lot of hits, you're unlikely to die
to fit the spirit, the custom mods on this stepfile are fucking impossible to read but you probably cannot fail the song; it just pits the two players against each other and the person who sucks less wins

How does one even SEE the arrows so fast!?
You technically have no less time to see the arrows here than you would playing a normal stepmania song.
I made sure that if anything was going to be unfair here, the arrow scroll speed wasn't going to be it.
taro4012 So you have to study the arrows beforehand?! I'd be left with broken legs after this song
no I mean like, 0.4 seconds of on screen arrow time is a totally normal amount of time to hit an arrow for someone who has experience with the game - even though it doesn't sound like a lot.
You get more time to look at the arrows by reading from the bottom of the screen, and the main goal is to "chunk" together groups of arrows so you can use muscle memory rather than visual memory.

You have to have had a lot of experience with stepmania/ddr types of games before playing the crazy stuff, haha. This stuff provides a challenge for those who have mastered the main game mechanics, but aren't interested in simply playing faster or more tiring/complex streams. The step patterns here are simple and friendly compared to the hardest stuff, but all the visual effects have been added to make them a unique kind of challenge.

i like how this stage works, it reminds me of the omega flowey fight a lot, in the way that you're always BARELY scraping by because of how insanely noisy it is on screen (not just because...you know, it IS the omega flowey fight)

Honestly, the difficulty seems more in not losing the arrows from sight with all the bullcrap Flowey throws your way. I know my eyes went cross at a couple points in the video.
But then, I'm bad and only play with normal beatmaps, that don't do all these pirouettes. I don't think I could deal with this.

Omega Flowey is one of three final bosses in Undertale. Hell, the fight in the game itself gets a little crazy at some points if you aren't prepared for it.
I love how there are specially made words during the Purple Soul part.

i dont play ddr so i dont really know how hard or easy this is but i will say that the visuals for the beatmap look outstanding. to an outsider (who sometimes watches ddr videos but very rarely), this mod is insane.

Plot twist, your arrows are the souls, being controlled by Flowey, and during Finale, they try to stand still as much as possible, fighting against Flowey.

well, technically the steps are always shown to you for a fair amount of time before you hit them, if you read the correct spot. Skill at these gimmicks involves knowing where to read. If the arrows were actually not there, it would be unfair

I'm a little bit surprised (but only a little) that the text for PURPLE/Muffet/Dodonpachi's text wasn't just the marquee text for Nageki no Ki.
there were a few things I wanted to do but ended up forgetting :( I wanted to include text from MAX300's bg animation too rofl
I don't get why some people really don't like the remix, if anything I think it sounds better because the original just seems overused and pretty much bland now. I like how terrifying the song sounds, it makes the actual fight more intimidating too. That's just my opinion, at least respect taro4012 for actually putting a lot of hard work into this for YOU guys. Not like he has too work on it, but at least he's enjoying the development of UKSRTALE. Taro, keep doing what you're doing dude, love your work as always. (I sound weird when I'm nice and supportive, I'm sorry.)
