Hi Charlie and Rena, What a difference the installation of doors and windows makes to your new home. It no longer looks like a building site, but I am missing the roosters. And the cats. And the dogs😂😂
Animals are all still here. The Ginger Tom loves the top deck. Hard to get him down from there most of the time. We do have a neighbourhood Rooster that visits a few times a day. He has been busy, hence the chicks.......
Good morning John, I’m a brand new subscriber. My name is Joe we’re just about to pour our concrete terrace with parapet just like you to support the concrete floor. Did I notice you used steel? Possibly some kind of roofing I noticed on your video I saw it on the overhang underside. By the way, your house looks great. What if you stagger blocks on your parapet wall just put one block every foot or two like the top of a castle wouldn’t that look cool?
If you have problems with the toilet next time get the Japanese or American version plus easy to get parts..not much difference in price but quality is there..also suggest a door stopper for your doors..take care..😊
Sorry one more thing, I didn’t notice drainage on your roof,,also did you water proof the concrete floor upstairs..locals don’t understand this stuff sometimes especially if you don’t have an architect building this house..😊
I would suggest you start painting inside first,,outside can wait..also it’s called skin coat. It’s like a white plaster you put on first to smooth the surface of the walls in and outside..then paint with the white base coat and then paint the color you want..good luck..😊
Sorry, I did not see this till now. We did skim coat on our Duplexes and already have to redo with Acrylic. Skim coat is very weak and will crack along with the rendering. We are trying to avoid that issue this time. Thanks......
