what an amazing turn around. After the supply block I thought Light had it, but then the Valks getting annihilated? Very impressive display.
Sending the valks at the mutas after being plagued was a huge mistake. Lost 6-7 valks for nothing. Flood of ling/muta made it impossible at that point.

I think Light's mistake was the mech transition when he had the edge. Don't get me wrong ,mech transitions are good, but what he needed was drops: he had such an air control and had just supply blocked Queen, 8*2 or so marines coming right into the main base would have end it I think.

Never float away all ur barracks i think u should keep 2-3 producing while mech is ramping up
It really is a bad play to lift off all the barracks. The marines help a ton during the transition. It didn't help that the zerg player did excellent at detecting and killing the mines.
Mr. Paladin Valkyrie's are using H.A.L.O (high altitude, long operating) cluster rockets. No chemical gas involved. It would be a war crime! 😁

Yeah, valkyries are less of a sniper shot, more of a shotgun blast to the face.
I thought Light might get this one after supply blocked Queen. But the outcome was way too unpredictable.

interesting and unique tit-for-tat game indeed, interesting switches by both players, Light with the mech move, and then Queen switching BACK to mutas. Strats! Sometimes work, sometimes do not, lol. And yeah, great work on those supply blocks, plagues, much else . Cool game! 😎🌟👍✊🤜❤🐦😊👍👍🌟./. .
Hey Falcon, you have told us several times what does SK terran means. But what about MAC terran? Or mech? Can't actually catch it
it is indeed mech, as in mechanized. SK terran iirc, comes from the team or player (I think) that 'invented/popularized that way of playing, might be wrong on this though.

We give Artosis Heck for not expanding fast enough. Here is an example of Light overexpanding. He knew he was transitioning to Mech and the money you are investing on a 5th base could be better spent with either Valykrie replenishment or More factory production. He knew Queen was only at 3 bases. Why do you need 5 bases to beat him? I think Light got too greedy but thats easy for me to say cause 1) We have access to both players vision. 2) He is 10000000x better than me :D
Light didn't expand too much. Two mistakes: sending plagued valks to fight mutas losing 7 valks for nothing. That allowed his opponent to go right back into mutas. Number 2 is lifting off all the barracks instead of keeping a bit more marine production to fill the gap during the transition. Vultures actually suck vs mass lings if you can't micro them enough. And even a pro player is gonna struggle when the zerg opponent is flooding the map with lings in several directions. Also his opponent did an excellent job detecting and killing most of the mines.
Light tapping out with 2.2k and 1.7k in the bank seems kinda weak. even after losing the valks he shoulda made a few more

I feel light could have won that had he dropped when he had queen supply blocked instead of triple expanding.. oh well gg
The expanding was excellent. His mistake was sending the 1hp valks to their doom instead of repairing. That was a huge mistake. I mean what, was he thinking he'd clear the mutas before 1 or 2 glaives hit?
