At least this little shit doesn’t actually do damage instead, it’s a support creature unlike the copy, which is actually a true rodent. It’s more of a parasite than other creatures in this damn game literally it needs to be removed from the roster. If you like to troll dinosaurs with that little shit no one loves you which is why you take out your frustration on everyone.
Wanna know what barrel roll is used for? I was playing Hatz on Juniper Modded Deathmatch and a swarm of Rhamphs was knocking me out of the sky for their apex buddies. It might not do actual knockback to large things, but anything that's supposed to do knockback will cancel flight.
It's a really good support, can reduce the turn of the opponent before and while a battle, and can reduce the health, stamina and bleed recovery giving a good advantage to his team in the breaks of each fights.
I don't have friends who play this so that's what I do. It's too hard to find a pack of different species from your own unless they're your friends. So I just go to this creature for a relaxed play style where all I have to do is be alert enough to run when needed, and because of that my build is just dedicated to exploring and catching food. I also get close to dehydration sometimes because I wait so long to seek out water lol
Yeah I try to make friends in the game but I pounce on them and they think I'm attacking them so after I buff them they knock me off and try to kill me and banish me from the party. Soooo I gave them the plague and flew away
Knowing this thing has a CW of 500 makes a lot of sense, given they're one-shot by practically anything. Thal has a new niche now: Ram Removal Services
Even though it's a support not pvp I still like it. It needs a bit of diet addition insect eater. And needs to fly faster and low stam drain in flight a bit more. I like the night terror when there's a massacre in IC. Lol If this has damage, imagine the tiny hitbox. Meta I use the swim speed sub. Full speed under water is ridiculously fast
Personally i love it,as a support its top tier,my pal and i have been killing ppl as a conc and ramph duo and works wonders,we even tried stego and ramph on a pvp server and does a great job if your careful I do think its regular bite should deal at least very tiny amounts of dmg,just to kill juvis and feed maybe😅
This this would be cool if we had 200 players on a server sadly it barely crosses 81 on official and 70 of those playing are chomping around ic blowing up the chat and out of the 11 left say 6 will be scattered around the map growing as babys 4 are sat afk in hc and 1 will be an ocean dino, so yeah in theory this would be a cool addition if you got a pack of 10 together and flew around as the flock from hell but even if you got 10 together now your going to be chasing the same 3 juvis 🤷🏼♂️ for this game to really become what its meant to be there needs to be more going on. Regardless of if people like this or not in the next few weeks you can guarantee it will get nerfed in some way or another anyway and it will be made less fun. It looks interesting it moves ok it definitely needs a longer glide and tree and rockside latching should also be a thing and would it really hurt it to inflict some damage 🤷🏼♂️. As with everything inthis game including the devs it needs a lot of work lol. (Apologies for the rant)
I hope that swim animation is a work in progress, movement is so stiff compared to every other animation it has, tail especially just looks like an untouched t-pose.
If only they made if more unique, it feels like a reskin of thalassodromeus :( the model is gorgeous though, so well done to the devs on that. Overall i give it a 6 or 7 out of 10
I like it a lot, but I think that the fact that a lot of dinos (like stegos, achillo, pachy without counting the mods) can attack him while latch make him a little bit bad, cause you die almost by anything, I think that the dinosaurs you hold on to shouldn't be able to harm you, the others can, but the one you hold on to shouldn't, maybe yes a Bad idea but I don't see why
I think the night buff might based on the fact that Rhamphorhyncus was nocturnal. It was based on scalera rings compared to modern birds that Rhamphorhyncus might've been active at night. Search up facts about it. It's ok for y'all to correct me on that fact, but I think that night buff might be the case.😊
I think if a hats freaking catching one of these guys in it's beak, it should get the option to swallow the thing like an actual predator. Basically a secret death animation, kind of like what they did with packies headbutt.
hes a funny dude, he understands the game making it enjoyable to watch. Im not into the rpg style of gameplay, not saying its a bad game just personal preference. I play the isle for an hour or 2 once a month when I feel like larping as a Dino.@@someone-ke4qj
I LOVE this game so much but have not played since early October last year as it just got plain boring with so few abilities and people intentionally killing younglings.
Baby killing is apart of life as well as path of titans. Would i rather put the effort in to killing somthing bigger than I am ? Or hunting down the baby who thought everyone is friendly cuz you’d never kill a baby? Depends on the hunger. I’m against just outright murdering the little guys but hey you’ve gotta learn to be more cautious and hide when young. The world is scary and has no mercy for children only the strong survive

A rhamph can also pounce onto you while you're falling to prevent you from flying again, which can theoretically kill you directly due to fall damage

Yes! it can latch onto a thalassodromeus too! midair!
U can fly while latched, u just can’t go up and down with the jump key or take off

I dont think I like the "rat out" call. Seems a major blow to stealth. I like hunting dinos, not meeting in open field to pvp to death over and over.
