- #rushweek in my life! this vlog got super long but I didn't wanna cut much out to keep this as real and authentic as possible. rush is a lotttt besides just wearing a cute dress and doing your makeup. I share a lot of things I felt throughout the week in this video, and I hope they all come across respectfully! also sorry for my short absence situation from youtube, so much has been happening and after I get this pre-filmed content up there will be tons of updates. life is crazy and a blessing right now all at the same time!

I think a lot of girls- especially at Ole Miss with the most competitive recruitment in the nation- take recruitment WAYY too seriously. I speak from experience when I say that recruitment is the most superficial part of being in a sorority. I promise you will find true and amazing friends and sisters in ADPI. It will even strengthen your faith- a lot of sororities rituals are faith based. I wish the recruitment process was different because literally everything else in a sorority is so different. Pi love
Hey girl! I went through recruitment at Ole Miss two years ago and completely understand what you felt. I'm now at UF and was part of recruitment from the other side and can tell you that we have your best interest at heart when we are choosing who to bring back! We don't "cut" because you aren't pretty enough or for other superficial reasons, we chose to remove girls because we don't think they will love being in our house - we want them to feel 100% comfortable, welcomed, valued, and chosen and sometimes that is in a different house than ours. If we don't think that they would get along with the majority of the girls in our house then we don't think it's fair to continue to bring them somewhere where they won't be their happiest and have the greatest experience. It's sounds harsh and the process isn't easy, but I can tell you that more often than not, these girls have your best interest in mind and want to see you thrive and become the greatest version of yourself. Hope that encourages you a little - or anyone going through recruitment :)

I'll be a freshman at UNLV come fall, and I know greek life isn't huge there but it's still something that interests me. I've been extremely nervous if what I stand for and what I hope to achieve in college would be able to align with a sorority and I want to thank you so much! This video has given me confidence in the system and now I'm excited to start rushing!!

I decided not to join a sorrority because I dont like the lifestyle they lead. I dont really like to get drunk at parties and hook up. Ive seen what they do and it turned me away from it. Of course they do study related activities and have a career network...but I did not feel like I would belong there. so I just stayed with the friends I ended up makin in class and during courses. And its fine. Even if you just made 2 friends its okay and enough. You have to set a goal. and your goal is to finish school.
