- City won an extraordinary Boxing Day game at home to Leicester to move six points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
City were 4-0 up inside 25 minutes thanks to goals from Kevin De Bruyne, Ilkay Gundogan, Riyad Mahrez and Raheem Sterling, before Leicester hit three goals in the space of ten second-half minutes to turn the contest on its head.
But Aymeric Laporte's emphatic header made it 5-3, before Sterling scored his second late on to seal the victory.
It was chaotic, breathless and thoroughly entertaining - the highest-scoring Boxing Day fixture in the Premier League era.

What a pulsating game this was!
I remember just being relaxed in thr first half and then praying like crazy in th second half when I saw leicester score 3 back to back. 😂💙💙
But then city just stepped up to third gear after the indigestion from all the turkey had settled down and erased any dwindling hopes the foxes miraculously had of getting something out of the game..
3 goals conceded when 4-0 up is alarming tbh but sometimes this is a wake up call that no games over until it's over regardless of result at the time and we didn't lose or draw so it could very well be the kick up the arse they needed to make sure this doesn't happen again in the run in to the season and if it does then it's title number 4 in just 5 seasons 🤞💙
