- For my Presets visit: johnnathancordy.gumroad.com/ I was asked if I could explain some of this tune and break down my thoughts, how I'm playing it, and so forth. If you haven't checked out Roy Hargrove - he was a really decent Flugel Horn and Trumpet player with a classic sound and style.
/ johnnathancordy if you want my backing tracks!

I’ve been looking everywhere for a channel that gives proper recognition to flugelhornists. I’ve hit that subscribe button so hard, so hard.
More videos like this!!! thanks johnnathan!!!
This is wonderful! I especially enjoyed the bass line as well
Thanks for this John 🙏🏽
Really useful. Well organized.Great Tone and tasty playing.
Particulary useful to have a looper friendly section, chord melody section , analysis with chord, licks and options. Thanks!
Love this tune
This is fantastic!
Saw Roy live in Germany a while back in a very small but nice venue, amazing musician with a fantastic band of 5 ppl.! Crazy grooves. Unfortunately he died two years ago, quite sad... Take a listen to some German fellows: Nils Wülker or Till Broenner (Oceania). Good stuff! ;-) Take care, Ron
Dude that’s my jam hell yeah !
Saw him play in Boston several years back... fantastic show. Btw not sure if you have ever checked out Soulive... you might enjoy them.
finally a guitarist plays the melody right
Can’t decide which is better, spicy or fruity
