Thanks a lot for starting a series on Network Theory! Please finish this series first and then move to others as this is the most fundamental subject. I'm a big fan of your playlists for Electronics Engineering. :)
As a student, your explanation is very useful to me as i understand a lot more better..thank you!!!
This example clears all the concept related to supernode... Thanxx a lot dear sir 😊
After half an hour i have exam
I am watching now😁✌️
Me too😊
You cleared my confusion
How to do if the 10 ohm resistor is in series with supernode(voltage source between 2 no reference nodes)
You can solve without considering the 10 ohm resistor as the part of supernode!
My exam is just after 8 days and now I feel relaxed after watching ur videos
Thank you so much sir... 😊😊

This is a worked example in fundamentals of electric circuits 4th edition by Alexander and Matthew sadiku.
I have a question. Since the 10ohms resistor is part of the supernode, why is it not considered during the KVL analysis?
Same
@alpino candy is the 10ohm resistor redundant here because current will flow through the 2v branch which has 0 resistance and no current flows through the 10ohm resistor because it has some resistance and hence is not a viable path for the current to flow? Or is there some other reason
love u sir
u r helping us
if any way i can do something for ur channel i m ready.
@@shreyandatta1910 😂
What about current through 10ohm during kcl
During KCL , If we neglect the voltage source present between two non reference nodes then the equation is V1-V2/10
i think, if we add V1-V2/10, then we have to add V2-V1/10 because the currents -left side and right side of the supernode- have to write properly. and sum of those 2 terms are 0. simply, we can say he wrote the shortly.
It will get canceled when u add eqn 1 and 2 to eliminate i.... correct me if I m wrong
the 10 ohm resistor does not make any difference because it is connected across the supernode
Why should we bother about 10ohm resistor. We only need to calculate current i ( in voltage source wire) . As we need another equation to find the unknown variable
Bhai mujhy nend nh arahi thi u help me so much !!!!! Superp💪🏿
Thank you sir
very good information Bhai ji.thnksss
only one view away from 100k for this video..hope my view completes it😂😂......Superb channel😍👍
on 9:15 why V1 +2 = V2 but not V1-2=V2 ?
Because power is delivered there so you have to take positive 2
Thank you
(V1/2)+(v1-v2)/10+(v2-v1)/10+(v2/4)+7=0....(1)
Simply 5v1+2.5v2=-50...(1) v1-v2=-2...(2) *5 ,5v1-5v2=-10....(2) ,(1)-(2)
7.5v2=-50+10
v2=-5.3v, v1=-7.3v(3minutes)
what is the use of 10ohm resistance,
if we replace it by 10,000 ohm resistance, will the answer be the same?
Current only goes through the voltage source as it finds the path with least resistance
Thank you sir ❤️
Thanks a lot for these lectures..
Sir why are we including the 10 ohm resistor in supernode portion?
Me watching this 1 hour before my test 😭
if its not mentioned in Question to find v1. can we take v1 as refrenced node to avoid supernode?
sir what about 10 ohm resistance in super node

May God bless you 😭💙💙💙💙💙💙
i got a question, afterthe supernode is formed, what is the value of the current flowing within the 2V Voltage source?
Can You please upload the solution for the other diagram shown in the video where more than two nodes from one supernode. It would be really helpful.
thanks bro fabulous work
keep it up
You are my hero sir,
Subscribed because of this video.
Awesome sir
I tried solving the practice problem of this sect from the same book... And whatever current you mention in the supernodes, all boils down to final equation as similar to single node... The redundant current, the 10 ohm resistance are all just to circulate their own current in their supernode... So whatever current enters 10 ohm, gets circulated back following the 2 v source, as like it had seperate path for that... But also it increases the nodal voltage and boosts the current. Aah it hurts thinking too much.
thank you this really saved me
You are doing good work.
Great explanation.
What will be the current through 10 ohm resistor?
thank you very much ❤❤
Good
What happens to 10 ohm?
10 ohm is useless across the supernode
@@lilchamp1342 but why?
@@sourabhpatravale8348 Because when node V1 and node V2 are combined, the current through the 10Ω resistor from either node will cancel with the current through the 10Ω resistor from the other node, so you can neglect it
@@Awesomekid2283 but the voltage across the 10 ohm resisisor is 2 volt if we place ammeter then it shows reading
@@littlekumar8091 i know whats bothering you... Let me explain why... The 2 v part does circulate current if you measure... But that circulates only in that loop of 10 ohm and 2 v source... Think of it like a pipe where you have a black water and a white water... The black water flows seperately aside in that pipe without mixing, throu 10 ohm... Also the white water does gain energy, as voltage (pressure is boosted) so does the current... Now super impose it.... Thats why 2 v part plays important role in the analysis as it boosts the currents...its energy source. I hope you can visualise it.
super sir.from bangladesh
Superb explanation bro...❤️
Nice video sir ji
Thanks
At 1:20 = sir, if element is present, then the nodes 3 and 4 is considered as V3, V4 ?
also, at 8 : 40 = what about 10 ohm resistor? Should we ignore it? why?
anyone pls explain...
thank you
Im confused, Why cant you just make the reference node one of the nodes connected to the voltage source to avoid having to use a supernode?
you need to put ground as a node,
sir, we really appreciate your kindness toward us. you made an awesome video and it's free.
I really appreciate it, sir. thanks a lot, sir.
thank you. i love you
very nice boss
Thanku so much sir

Me watching it just before my exam my exam is today at 11:30 and here am I at 10:50 watching it
Me watching 2hrs before exam😅
Sir why we dont consider 10 ohm resistor,.
same doubt...
Do we need to ground the circuit before analysis; i.e. assume zero voltage at the bottom node ?
yes u need to have a reference node which is the one that will be grounded
very nice explanation :) god bless you sir !
Wow video
Sir how did u obtain equestion 1
why do you get negative voltages? what does that imply?
It means that the polarity is opposite to the assumed polarity. In other words if Vab is negative, then it means Vb > Va
Me watching this 1 hour before exam
15 minutes before exam boss 🤣
what will eventually happen to 10 ohm
Is he actually writing with the mouse like this?
Ans may be wrong...my ans is v1=-6v &v2=-8v
No its not.
What will happen if there is a series resistance in the circuit with the supernode
in which part of the circuit? give an example
Then it will form another node.
Why don't you make V2-V1=2 rather than V1-V2=-2? Is it the same answer?
Check polarity of 2v so it should be v1-v2 =2
What about the 10ohm????
same doubt...
What reference is this sir?
Sir how to solve that problem if the voltage value 2V is not given???
Find it by using nodal analysis
sir humble request you to upload more vedios as soon as possible . plz atleast two lecture upload daily.
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Why can't we write the eqns for node 1 : -2 + V1/2 + i +(V1-V2)/10=0 and node 2 : 7 + V2/2 - i + (V2 - V1)/10 = 0 ?
as we are removing the voltage source and and short circuit it to form supernode. the resistor which is in parallel to a short circuit, can be neglected.
Why my answers are v1 = 6v and v2 = 8v
Anyone has the answer of shown fig in 5:56??
Me watching during exam😂😂😢😢😮😮
I chose V1 = 0V, thus V2 = 2V. 🤣🤣🤣 It's not wrong.
Sir, please tell me, how to make this video?? Give me the name of application.. Please
Why the current (V2-V1)/10 Not included in this super node Technique

ok consider the supernode without the 10 ohm resistor. i.e. only v1,v2 and that 2V source. then try writing the equations. ull get two terms such as.. ..+ (V2-V1)/10 + (V1-V2)/10 ... which cancel out. thats why he said i and -i .

sir id it v1-v2=2? or v2-v1=2?
Check the polarity of voltage soure .the current will flow from 1 to 2 ,i.e v1-v
V2 _v1
One hard part is why does everyone teaching this has different rules and has their own ways, that part makes us confuse
