The clackers we had in the 70/80ies, in the Netherlands we called them click clacks. (Klik-klaks in Dutch)
They are not more dangerous than other toys, but not for little childeren. You must try to click them together in a ritm than click them over the top and back. If it went wrong you hurt your knuckles...
About hurting your face, you also could hurt your face when a kid wants to ride your (or another kid's) face... Just use them the way they belong to use.
The same with the flying doll... we had such kind of toy with a propeller on it. You must shoot it in the sky, not to eachother. I think this is not that dangerous, just teach your kids, how to use propperly! 😊

I was born in 1994! I had that pregnant barbie and short story my mom made me hide that doll before my grandmother came over becuz she could of faint to see a young girl playing with motherhood.. nice to see it remembering the freckles on her face
I think the easy bake oven I think should still be on shelves because it can teach kids how to cook and not to put your hand in to a oven and it can teach them that some meals you need recipe books for if you hadn’t made that food before but if you have made it multiple times for not to use a recipe book and it can teach kids about responsibility and about work and cooking.

Yes i’v heard about banned toys. Iv always found the subject fascinating. Iv head about several others too that you didn’t show (E.g. inappropriate action figures, science & detective toys that had asbestos or radioactive material in them, lawn darts). The cabbage patch one gives me the most anxiety. I was thinking the whole time “get your hair out the way” encase it started working.
I know one reason why this cabbage patch doll was banned it was because it would eat peoples hair and it wouldn’t stop eating the hair so parents had to cut their kids hair.

I think these toys are very interesting and I personally think back then kids played rougher and had lots of imagination which leads to these kind of toys, they are pretty fun if you used them as told, and nowadays it would be weird to have these on shelves because everyone is very protective but you would be surprised to see how much people like the idea of these toys! I actually had the flying one myself, I liked it

I remember that the Zhu Zhu pets wheels on there bottom always got stuck in peoples hair so they got banned. I had the pink one and it got stuck in my hair but luckily I cot it in time I cut may hair off. ( I’m fine)

I got mine the first Christmas that it came out. IThat thing burned the crap out of my fingers and I was careful. I got burned on the top venting for the bulb. I was really careful with the hot pan, though.

I had the Easy-Bake oven end and the sky dancer. Growing up I always knew not to put my fingers in the oven. I actually had other ovens that you can make dolls and bugs with. I had two sky dancers personally nothing happened to me. I do agree with why ever single one of these were banned. I am a 90's and 200's kid.

The reason why the Cavett pack kids Feed me dog was banded it was because I kept chewing peoples hair and capturing peoples fingers all those crazy stuff so that’s why it was revealed that it is not on the shelves and it’s banded
