- Namaste. Royal Enfield has been improving at a pace we never expected. After 650 twins back in 2018, it seems RE started a new era. But the advancements really felt big when we saw the new 350 and now the Himalayan 450. I did share my first impressions of it a few months back, but here are my thoughts after riding it for a couple of months and a few hundred km.

The headlights are -5 on a scale of 1-10.
The joystick is a breeze once you get the hang of its functions.
The suspension is amazing. The fit and finish is good and the power is brilliant. I was never a fan of RE and still doubt their service. I still believe they will mess up the bike during its service. Also RE has ridiculous pricing on accessories which should have been a part of standard fitment like seats and mirrors.

New rider here. Just bought a 24 Ninja 500. Max speed so far 40mp. I shift up to fourth gear fine. When i need to slow down i to make my driveway, iv been Holding Clutch and progessive front braking. About every 10-15 mph decrease in speed, i downshift till im about at 13mph in first gear. IM HOLDING THE CLUTCH (no throttle) and front break progessivly THE ENTIRE TIME, only downshifting when the mph matches the appropriate gear, then finally releasing the clutch when im in first sometimes 2nd . IS THIS BAD?? it feels like im slowing coasting and slowing
Not bad. Though with time use less clutch. It is good habit to develop control.
Then learn rev mach, then clutch less shifts etc
What could be the approx. price of RE himalayan 411 2021-22 driven around 10-15k, first owner, in mint condition??

I am planning to buy a new bike, i am confused in gixxer150, pulsar n160 or hero xtreme 160r 4v which bike is reliable and fun to ride because I have to keep the bike for the next 8 yrs

@@divyanshukushwah5970 Go for xtreme 160r 4v because of good mileage, road presence, best in class performance, cheap spare parts, head Turner because it doesn't sell a lot like pulsars so it doesn't look common. Remember Hero service is pathetic but the same can be said for literally every Bike Brand except the premium ones. I won't recommend Pulsar although it's good because it won't age well, after 2-3 years there will be vibrations, clatter, creaking plastics and faded paint all over the place. Plus the pulsar's engine isn't as refined as Xtreme's. I can say so because I own the 2020 model and till date it holds well.
Gaadi agr road pr jyada chlani hai toh 160r 4v mst hai aur reliable bhi hai
If you have to take someone with you, xtreme is most uncomfortable bike in the segment. Gixxer is nice bike initially, later it's engine becomes sluggish. Pulsar has improved a lot, but segment king is apache 160 4v.

My pulsar was standing right next to this and my bike looking so damn tiny. Hinalayan is a huge bike but still, kahi gire to sab toot jayega apna, still i prefer car than a bike on indian roads.

Gagan bhai aapko kya hi batayenge aapki personal preference ke barey me.
Just go to a showroom and take a test ride. See if the bike suits you. It has height adjustable seats (825mm - 845mm). See if it is comfortable and then decide. I don't think Gagan can comment anything about experience of people other than himself
