About One Hour One Life
This game is about playing one small part in a much larger story. You only live an hour, but time and space in this game is infinite. You can only do so much in one lifetime, but the tech tree in this game will take hundreds of generations to fully explore.
This game is also about family trees. Having a mother who takes care of you as a baby, and hopefully taking care of a baby yourself later in life. And your mother is another player. And your baby is another player. Building something to use in your lifetime, but inevitably realizing that, in the end, what you build is not for YOU, but for your children and all the countless others that will come after you. Proudly using your grandfather's ax, and then passing it on to your own grandchild as the end of your life nears.
And looking at each life as a unique story. I was this kid born in this situation, but I eventually grew up. I built a bakery near the wheat fields. Over time, I watched my grandparents and parents grow old and die. I had some kids of my own along the way, but they are grown now... and look at my character now! She's an old woman. What a life passed by in this little hour of mine. After I die, this life will be over and gone forever. I can be born again, but I can never live this unique story again. Everything's changing. I'll be born as a different person in a different place and different time, with another unique story to experience in the next hour...

I tried to be the longest living ghost last night. I went as far east on the highway as I could and settled a dead town with a couple other ghosts. It was fun. We even made a radio and haunted the airwaves. 👻 Long live Ghost Town ❤

I was your great Gma, and I was streaming and trying to see how long I could live as a ghost. But you caught on very quickly. Unfortunately, I was bugged and never was able to be invisible. But it was still fun. I was killed in Hallowells town as I followed your mom there. 😂

Baby broth was an ancient tradition of that town, adopted by several of the resident families. Newborns were dipped in crocks of broth and thus blessed.
In the earliest version of the tradition the broth used to be cooked from actual baby bones, or so I’ve heard, but in my lifetime we used just the regular turkey broth and only dipped the babies when it cooled down to lukewarm temperature. Myself, I was a bit of a revolutionary, for I believed people should be dipped in broth from the inside as well as the outside, and so I drank a lot of the holy broth, and what I couldn’t drink anymore I fed to others, until there was no broth left. We made more broth, but the older generations felt it wasn’t the same, and they called me a heretic. My own mother disowned me and then went catatonic to spare herself more disappointment.
Luckily, my peers eventually warmed up to the concept of double-dipping, and by the time of my death it was a widely accepted practice (or at least there was no opposition because all the opposers had died of old age).
Aaaah, good old baby broth. 😂 I am making an ai story of that as me and some other player were the first to put a baby into broth. It started out as dead babies, but then I said ugly ones. Eventually, all babies were to be dipped into baby broth the moment they were born. 😂
I am so excited to post the ai story up as it was truly the best lives and moments I have experienced in a long while. 😂

Is all fun and giggles until the baby decides to pee in the broth, and since the broth is holy, it can't be thrown to waste, must still be drinked.
I lived my longest ghost life last night. I was alive for 7 hours. I died at 420 years old for the memes.
I love that Jason goes through the trouble to code in cool temporary things for april fool's and halloween. Headless horseman, everyone being born as jason (complete with the green hat), super-fast lives, and now ghosts 👻

Ghosts are kinda cool but also not - because people just use the mechanic to keep playing normally instead of being spooky and getting exorcised, so no new babies are being born and families are dying out. It's very frustrating.
