The questions come from the jury (allowed in Florida and Arizona) are reviewed by the judge and lawyers before being read by the judge. Not all questions asked by the jury are asked of the witness in open court. I like following the questions to see what jurors are thinking.

Really you can tell the Adelsons have coached these employees on what to say and what not to say on the stand, and apparently told them how to get out of their previous statements. The assistants telling the prosecutor that a copy of their statements WOULD NOT refresh their memories....what the hell? Do they know about lying under oath?

I’ve never seen a court hearing where the judge asked questions like this to the witnesses is this normal? I’ve never heard of it seems really weird to me.
The questions come from the jury (allowed in Florida and Arizona) are reviewed by the judge and lawyers before being read by the judge. Not all questions asked by the jury are asked of the witness in open court. I like following the questions to see what jurors are thinking.
