The Garden Wedding is so pretty, I love it! I have Winter Wedding too and boy was it dingy and yellow when I got it. I soaked it in oxy clean for a couple days and it’s so white now. They are all such beautiful dresses.

That's great! Don't you just love Orange Blossom! I am going to open my reproduction and put on a Vintage Ponytail. Since I doubt I will ever find the original for a good price. Also hard to find in good condition. Hope I thrift one someday.

In the Barbie sewing group that I’m in, there’s one gal who makes custom Bride dolls for members of the family when they get married 😍 So fun!
Oh wow! There is a Barbie sewing group?! How fun!! That tiny sewing isn't easy. Yes I love the Bride group. The orange Blossom dress Midge wears is a very popular dress on it's on.
So turns out i have the 1959 dress in my collection.
I wasn't sure what one it was as it has seen better days.
It has split at the neck where you said as it is so delicate.
Though I'm handy at sewing so it's going to be mended.
Can't wait to put it on a ponytail and in my cabinet.

What a great video Sue!! Probably the most favorite dress a little girl could get for her Barbie!!! Everyone is such a lovely dress. The Garden Wedding is so pretty. And Winter Wedding is probably my favorite. I have a homemade wedding dress from the early 60s that I 've had since I was little. It is a long sleeved ALL thick satin. It has always been my favorite wedding dtess. I will send a pic sometime. Thanks Sue!

An easy way to dress Barbie is to begin by placing a pair of Skippers tricot socks over Barbie's hands. Then dress as usual and those tight, delicate, or lace sleeves will slide on without catching or being damaged by Barbie's fingers. Once dressed simply remove the socks. Something I discovered years ago and always share with other collectors.
That is a great tip. I will try to remember it in the future.👍
I am in love with the first two dresses and i love the super long veil of the one later in the video. i also got good news. A week ago i ebay searched vintage barbie wedding dresses lot and it was an auction item I think but there were a couple of dresses one was the dress you said you were waiting on. i think the price was at 12 it may have changed but it was that exact dress with a few vintage dresses id thought id let you know and how i typed it on ebay search. since youtube doesn't allow non youtube links to be posted. also check out the 1996 fashion avenue bridal dress set. its an actual changeable dress the top is a wintery themed top but it can be removed for a sweet heart sleeveless dress. its very beautiful and instead of a veil it looks like it's a white fur cap of some sort.
Finding beautiful bride for $12 would be unbelievable. There are so many beautiful dress I have to break it down. Maybe do some 70s & 80’s ones . If I can.
