Those are american black bears, let's see how they do against an Asian black bear or an Indian Sloth Bear these two are larger than the American one and also have a much bad track record,
Sloth bears have huge claws like sloth and asian black bears are larger and more aggresive than their american counterparts

So I found out something really interesting a few weeks back. Some of you might already know this but the reason bears are so scared of cats is because in both Russia and Southeast Asia,tigers frequently hunt and eat bears. It’s basically a deep-seated fear of anything that resembles a feline.

I don't believe that. Startled bears run from anything that runs at them, the same way a full grown human runs from a mouse or cockroach. Are humans worried about being eaten by mice?! Back in the day when miacids we’re developing into cats and dogs, the cats almost wiped out the dogs by killing them off and by being better in every possible way for survival, the only power dogs had to survive was in pacts

Cats seen pretty good at detecting if another animal is a juvenile. House cats are far more tolerant of the antics of human babies than those of their adult counterparts.

You don't need protection from black bears, there's a reason they're scared even of cats. I don't think a grizzly bear would run from a cat, but black bears aren't really aggressive or even stand-offish
@@BlaBla-su2yh that’s not true. They will kill anything it thinks is weaker then it without hesitation. They are very territorial and violent. They just don’t understand their power and place in the pecking order. For some reason their instincts never programmed them to fear certain animals and so they learn it through experience.
For every encounter where the bear/fox/monkey runs away, there are ten where the cat gets killed. The cats here are trying to protect their territory and the bears are just kind of wandering around. If the roles were reversed the cats would all be dead.

Our two barn cat sisters we brought in to be house mousers, never fought a single rodent that we ever saw.. but once every few months those two sisters would raise Cain such that us human either had to vacate the friggin house or try this weird blanket-holding technique to herd them away from each other. We were on the hit list too, when they went feral from time to time.
I understand that very well, a family friend gave us two cats, siblings,a male and female. Ofc they do hunt (female felines do the tough job mostly,and males are henpecked) but every once in a while they'll have a disagreement over something we humans can't understand and it'll be hell 😂😂😂😂 the male getting the most beating 😂 and we had a neighbour's cat,who lives in our house rent free, when the siblings were young he took care of them but as they grow older,The female (we named her Rags) will instigate her brother,(we named him whitey because he is white and also he has a good temperament) like making a gurgling sound and nudging him whenever the old male cat steps inside,she will nag the shit out of whitey until he gets tired ,gets into fight mode and chase the old one out, won't let him eat food even 😂

Cats instinctively match their fighting skills against any animals they are around.They can tell with a quick feint which animals to not engage and to evade.Bears,as fast as they are to humans,are very slow to a cat,hence the cats playing games with the bears.I would love to see a housecat mongoose encounter,lol.Most cats would probably try to evade a mongoose because of their speed.Also cats have problems with some small hunting dogs e.g. Jack Russell terriers and dachshunds.
Cats will avoid mangoose and small fox. But Lynx will kill them anyway.
Mustelidaes can also be deadly for our cats. They are faster, and have amazing killing skills too. They go for the throat.
There’s been several videos of coyotes killing and eating cats which is surprising given how fierce a cat can fight.They must have been docile pets used to dogs.

Obviously cat and cub seem relaxed and happy, but the fact that people are watching this and not realising it's not a good situation makes me sad. People are now so desensitised to seeing this wild animals in a domestic environment the problems aren't even noticed.
@@SEA-dv5kh Maybe so, but that is one more tiger that exists that would not have existed in the wild so there are two sides to that argument. Some people treat their pets bad, some treat them good. Maybe this cub grew up and had a good life, there is no guarantee it was a bad life.

I don't even want to waste my time explaining why, but there's nothing sustainable or ethical when domesticating wild animals and just an hour or so doing some reasearch will show the long term consequences. For every organisation wanting to help correct the problem, thousands of others fight against it. Nature is natural for a reason, as humans deserve to live freely, so does everything else in this world. I'm no PETA, religious activist person and I'm not saying you're the problem, just that you should make yourself aware of this issues.

@@SEA-dv5kh You don't know who that person is, he has a youtube channel (Micheal jamison) and has a whole sanctuary of animals that he keeps, he saved a tiger named ozzy who was abused and not well nourish which caused his bones to change in his legs, the other 2 tigers micheal has had for 10 and 8 years and has taken very good care of them, he even feeds them whip cream which a wild tiger wouldn't even have the opportunity to do or would even eat. These are tame tigers and this is better for the tigers since in the wild its dangerous for them and they can get killed or straved to death, he's helping them and has a big place that he keeps them it looks just like a forest or jungle with a big treehouse where they can sleep and play
I live out of town, and have a tamed former wild domestic cat here living with me... is already like any other house cat would be, sleeping next to me etc, but still wants to hang around outside a lot. Here lives lot of foxes, and I had always been worried they would possibly harm the cat - until I first time saw the cat having a fight against one... I feel sorry for that fox, pretty sure it lost sight from it's other eye, and it left quite a lot of blood in the snow while it ran away... cats are unbelievably tough, that fox was like double the size of the cat. Also have seen it kill adders many times, the reflexes are just insane. Only two times during last 7 years, this cat has self been injured in a fight against some other animal... one time was against some big bird that attacked it from the sky, the other time was against another wild domestic cat.
the fact that they're not scared is scary enough
