    A low-cut, lightweight gaiter for basic protection against sand, stones, seeds, and sticks - the Sea to Summit Spinifex Ankle Gaiters are also a good option for the weight-conscious trekker.
    At half the height of its full-length cousins, the Spinifex Ankle Gaiters are constructed from 450D Polyester with a lightweight Nylon lining and an adjustable front hook-and-loop closure. Plus, stainless-steel lace hook and drawstring top closure provides a comfortable and versatile fit.

      They will keep a bit of water out, but the seal around the top isn't water tight so you will eventually get wet feet if you're in the rain for long enough. ~ Ben

    Kahtoola gaiters are a much better gaiter in every way & a much better value for the money spent.

    It stops the dogs biting ya ankles lol 😂🤣🤣🤣🤣 NOT.....there useless maybe to stop.some.mud hitting ya ankle lol 😂🤣🤣🤣

      I havent seen need to use them for a long while yet, but the people I see use them the most are doing more outback style trails where dust, small rocks, grass seeds, etc all get attached to you and into your boots.
      I'd say there would be certain use cases for them, but also if I see someone using gaiters, I wont think less of them. Whatever gets people out and about hiking in a way thats most comfortable for them is the only thing that matters - wether or not they wear gaiters certainly doesnt! 😄

      @@SnowysOutdoors and when it's wet it won't keep your legs dry or your pants if hiking.....yeah there just useless it's like a half cut gaiter lol 🤣 yeah whatever floats ya boat I suppose but poor man pays twice remember that 👍👍 have a nice day
