@@conservachick100We no longer consider kickoff return touchdowns as luck. We take pride in our special teams... Except for allowing KSU's O to stay on the field for 20 minutes of the 1st half allowing them to run 2X ours. #4 can't tackle a girl. Defense needs to pick it up too.
Was really glad to see the RB’s/run game show some improvement. People like to beat up on rattler when the offense is sluggish (perhaps rightfully so) but it’s hard to throw the ball if defenses know that’s all you can do
Defense usually does a good job of this, this year, but in this game they needed to get us the ball back sooner. (Not to mention 3 dropped interceptions) We allowed k-state to drive the ball for 7+ minute possessions. Our offense looked much better but still can do a better job of finishing out drives. We had 3 opportunities at TD’s, but because of stupid mistakes we had to settle for field goals. If we can get those issues under control for Texas, we’ll have no trouble beating them, it’s just a matter of if we make the needed improvements in time.
If the two picks that were easy gimmes were caught and Tyrese Robinson didn't have so many penalties, this game would have been a blowout. I find myself feeling better about the team after an ugly game once again (same as West Virginia) since the problems are so simple. No serious issues schematically or talent-wise. Pretty confident the coaching staff will have things ironed out for Texas.
It was good to see Riley utilizing Hall and Mimms. Both RB’s had good games, and Rattler looked better than he has, this yr up to date. OU is right there. A missed block here, and a missed tackle there, are what’s keeping them from being the team everyone predicted. Riley’s teams always seem to get better as the season goes along. That’s what coaches want, playing your best ball at the end of the year.
Couple of caught ints by the defense, special teams doesn’t give up that touch down and the score could have easily been like 47-14 but it wasn’t and I’m glad so we can fix those issues! Online looked good, running backs looked good and Spencer looked good. Defense had its worse game of the year but still played overall good not the standard we want but we won. We will bring our best to Texas and gonna be the game we need to put it all together to make our natty run! Have faith and pride Sooner fans!
It's time except the fact that OU is not a National Championship Contender. The inexperience of the O-Line and lack of depth at RB really killed them this season. Rattler is good, but I have the feeling his real gains would be in a possible Junior and Senior seasons. Which of course will never happen. But I do think OU can make the playoffs. But OU isn't beating either Georgia or Bamma. But I do think it's better to loose in the playoffs than win a pointless Sugar Bowl or whatever else Bowl game.
I disagree. The team has yet to put forth their complete performance. As long as they get to their potential, they'll compete with Bama and Georgia. They need to improve fast I agree. Especially for Texas. I think we have some garbage teams after Texas so we got more time to fix things in preparation for a tough November (Baylor, Iowa state and OSU). Just gotta get by Texas right now.
This team has a much higher ceiling than Riley's past teams. If the team is healthy (we're really missing DTY, W. Washington, J. Redmond and T. Wease) at the end of the season we'll be competitive.
Felt better about this game than the WV game. With the exception of K-State's garbage time TD. Thanks Mr. Macintosh!! Another great video!
They are really good at kick returns

There was a missed hold on that kick return for a TD so I'm willing to overlook it
OU played a great game but "garbage time"?! Come on, learn your history. K-State leads in special teams TD's. It happens Susan.
hey atleast this is the last time we play skylar thompson
Linebackers need to learn the defense, and the DBs need to CATCH. Outside of that, great performance all around.

After listening to Grinch after the game. It sounds like there’s a couple lazy fuckers that take plays off, a lot.

5-0 never felt so bad.

Damn good game men let’s keep going

Too many penalties, poor tackling, but Spencer was on point. We should beat Texas but we have to get a lot better.
Shades of Keith Jackson on that TE reverse by Jeremiah Hall
Great video as always. I sure wish we would stop letting the opposing team back into the ball game.
Cool! :)
Just noticed that Wright, the RB for K-State that coughed up the fumble, was involved in tackling Bonitto after the 64 yard return

It's a better looking win, our offense needs more possessions
Crazy how ppl feel better when the defense plays bad as compared to when both defenses show up.
Thanks
Can you please do classic games with KSU vs OU 1985
How are you not gonna show the onside kick drama that happened 🤨🤨🤨
It wasn’t a highlight..

This team is not even at their best yet, and still undefeated so far

DBs couldn't cover a bed with a blanket
Look what happens when we run the ball. We can do more on offense. Beat Texas
for some reason oklahomas games all seem like 4A high school games this year. I'm sticking with my team but i'm not excited.
