Protests are inconvenient to all politicians. People expect protests to be disruptive to normal everyday affairs. Petitioning our government on specific issues is legal. What is not legal is destruction of property and violence whether committed by protesters or law enforcement. Protests have always...ALWAYS have had to straddle that thin line. Emotions like fuel, only require the smallest spark. If violence and chaos insue BOTH sides must pull back and take charge of their most dangerous, unruly members. Protests are for the clear thinkers. Return and re-examine your petitions and ultimate goals. Peace and Protection.
