in wrestling I learned if someone grabs you from behind and locks you in good, you should immediately grab both their wrists and then drive your body weight down and then walk forward while leaning back at the same time to stop them from suplexing you. it's either going to A.) Break their lock or B.) bring them to the ground to where you can break free and then face towards them. Worked for me back in my high school wrestling days. Stay safe all.

A problem I see is that a body slam can happen so fast, that trying to do something might be a challenge. Also, I think if something is going to work, you have to practice over and over again at reacting to the touch the moment it happens and to drop your weight and lean slightly forward so that your heavier and harder to lift.
I would like to try the techniques in this video to see how affective they are.

“ Force “ put in maximum force into your action for best results. these techniques won’t work if the foe is using more strength than you 💭

THEN before that learn to prevent the throw like grip lock breaking stepping on the toe hard, groin kick from behind, Bambi roll to escape and reverse positions on opponent, even grabbing their wrist and spinning them away or roll them with you to the front, maybe do a standing leg switch( turn around grad their thigh to turn in front of them to escape) works even if they don't let go of their grip their arm will break.

This is what I learned in Chinese kempo if someone too BIG to flip forward over your shoulders grabs you from behind, wrapping their arms around your arms and chest:
You drop down into a low horse stance, popping your butt out and flicking your shoulders forward with your hands on your quads and elbows facing out wide. That just loosened the hold.
Then, you turn to one side and can either place your leg behind his leg while elbowing the face or neck to trip or KO him, OR stomp the foot and elbow the body, preferably the liver or solar plexus. Now he has completely released you, if not KO'd on the ground.
If you didn't trip the leg, and the elbow didn't KO him and he's still standing, as you rise up from the squatted horse stance position, you strike with a back fist to the nose and a straight punch or hook to the throat.
Always aim for vital organs. Strike with power, precision, and with purpose. Check your surroundings. Get out of there.
    Good luck.

When i was a kid in school from time to time as kids do they would jump on me from the back, the best way i found to stop this was that they always came off worse, they would jump on you and pull you down to the ground, they thought it was fun.
A simple but very effective move, one that just about anyone could do, even if you're walking.
Most people when they grab you are slightly off ballance, so i basically stepped slightly to one side and back into them bent my knees stuck my ass into them and leaned forward, often dropping to one knee all in one motion.
Quite often they would end up on the floor in a crumpled mess, and those that didn't, often stumbled enough for me to turn and face them.
I don't know where i got this from it was just something that came natural to me to do.
It stopped the kids jumping on my back.
I later took up judo for fun in my adult years.
It's quite surprising how a simple move can surprise someone not expecting it if they think they have the upper hand.

One thing to notice is that this will not work if you are busy looking at your phone. Stay off your phone and be aware of your surroundings.

Start sleeping at the office and walk your route in the morning so you are facing your attackers, with no warning and one-time only, discretely execute either a German suplex or electric chair suplex.

You need to practice grappling with guys who are actively trying to take you down regularly for this to be of any use. But even a couple of months with a grappling art will make a huge difference for your sense of balance and reflexes.

Being 6' tall and 400 lbs will prevent being body slammed in most cases.
