Step 1: be 11" taller than the guy trying to body slam you 🤣
More like 18.
Having a lower center of gravity is actually an advantage in grappling (former wrestler)
@@agentk3388 he is not just taller, he is much bigger
Step 2: Politely ask your attacker to not squeeze the entrails out your ass while you wiggle your arm in between his.
First thing I thought "be taller and heavier so they can't lift you"
Respect to Cormier for helping with this demo.
Bruh 😂
Haha
Makes sense since DC is a wrestler
Hahahaha
Would help to see the average sized fool do it haha
Omg I get body-slammed on my way to work every other day thank you so much for this.
i know i can make a "bro lives in...💀" meme but i dont have the brain power for it
If you're black this is valuable info as body-slamming us to concrete is a favorite tactic of MAGA cops.
Omg where did you get that avatar?
I love it.
Lol thats what im saying! Dont you hate it when you're waiting in line at the left handed and chemical burn survivor registration and freaking get slammed? Always!!!
Não FUNCIONA na rua
My technique for avoiding being body slammed is I always wear a 40kg weighted vest under my jacket, with the hopes that a would be attacker will throw their back out on an attempted lift.
Is it a permanent 40kg 'vest'? 😆😆
I love your videos they are simple and very realistic unlike this shit on here that gets people hurt. You have taught me and my family alot already thank you.
Thanks so much for watching
I have my son watching these. These are perfect
Have him do more than watch, have him actually do it!
@@czourides I gave him a fresh pair of Jordans and dropped him off in the rough part of town after your suggestion. He's already warded of 642 attackers. I'm so proud!
@@deflamrek lol, get him wrestling and doing bjj
No these are far from perfect...
@@deflamrek nice. Love it.
That edit killed me 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
It was a good one for sure

Thanks! my grandma didnt stand a chance.
Copied and funny😂😂
Lmaoooooooooooooo
in wrestling I learned if someone grabs you from behind and locks you in good, you should immediately grab both their wrists and then drive your body weight down and then walk forward while leaning back at the same time to stop them from suplexing you. it's either going to A.) Break their lock or B.) bring them to the ground to where you can break free and then face towards them. Worked for me back in my high school wrestling days. Stay safe all.
It works great as well
when i did wrastling i was taught if someone grabs you from behind, you need to thrust your butt out hard while reaching out far with your arms and biting the nearest pillow.
@@happyjonn9242that is a plus, since you make the offender a S&X offender, people then are more prone to help you
@@happyjonn9242💀
Doesn't that leave you open to a trip and get teeth planted, such that if you are not KO'd, you'd be on your face and back mounted?
Thank you for showing us the way.
Thanks...these tips are much appreciated
Thank you sir
I appreciate how you let ppl know there is no perfect answer, you must to fight.
Love it thank you so much
Great videos Coach!!! Thank you so much!!!!
I think the key thing he said is to have a good situational awareness. Know your environment and as much as possible avoid situations where you are likely to get bum-rushed.
Excellent free advice. Thank you
Trying to make a difference in this world
This stuff is the best man. You’re gonna blow up on CZcams from it.
Real street practical knowledge; expertly and simply explained. Outstanding!
Street practical? Who the hell is out there doing suplex stealth attacks
@ Georgiy Kireev
Watch street fight videos where people are in a random fight by chance, throwing people like this always happens, it’s like the main move I see people do with success , so this video IS relevant, especially when you’re already in a fight , then it’s easier .
Maybe you’re living in la la land
22/03/2023 jam 21.58 WIB thanks for the video
Awesome great video thanks
It also helps if you’re a foot and a half taller than the person trying to body slam you.
I learned something like this 30 years ago in Tanaka Taekwondo. But obviously it’s circumstance and awareness that helps. But i was also 9 or 10 and drills at that age really were just introduction but still stuff i think about
Amazing how long it stays with us hey
You GD right! I can’t even begin to tell you how many people that are goofing off and looking at their smartphone’s and they are in a daze. Like sometimes I literally have to wave my hand between my wife’s head and her phone just to break that visual connection. People are almost electronic zombies. And when we go somewhere to eat for instance, I always position myself in a corner so that I can face someone if they decide to try anything
Very practical!
Don't let anyone 1/3 your size take advantage of you.
Thanks excellent
Huh, so there are self defence videos on youtube by ppl who actually know what they are talking about. All of this was actually just about escaping and not turning the tables to attack your offender. Even the mindset stuff is on point.
You're one of the good guys. Keep it up! =)
Damn, this is a good video. No nonsense.
Just found you. Looks like a really good down to earth channel and instructor
Thanks for watching
On the hand choke, I did notice you tucked the pinky gently underneath so no one Wu and Fuk Sau out of it. Tricky 😅😅
Need to test ko, choke or lock what? instead outrageous NASM 1⁰0 second plank is best. Get a dumb ass clue ass to grass backs my viewpoint.
I didnt have my glasses on and i deadass thought he just absolutely murdered that man in yhe beginning
Excellent
That WAS Comier? TWO time champ! (As he told The Eagle).
Good advice. Straight to the point.
Haha nope just his doppelgänger. Thanks
A problem I see is that a body slam can happen so fast, that trying to do something might be a challenge. Also, I think if something is going to work, you have to practice over and over again at reacting to the touch the moment it happens and to drop your weight and lean slightly forward so that your heavier and harder to lift.
I would like to try the techniques in this video to see how affective they are.
I think a big part of it is alertness to your surroundings. Someone immersed in their phone is at a disadvantage since they don't seem to see someone coming at them from the front too often much less a rear attack.
Practice makes instinct ~
Practice creates subconscious actions . Be wise what you practice everyday and what you put into your body mind and visuals . Know your place and every environment you enter .
& in order to complete these tactics . . add in
“ Force “ put in maximum force into your action for best results. these techniques won’t work if the foe is using more strength than you 💭
With anxiety anything is possible.
It's always good to learn to break the fall and roll out of it to minimize the body slam or throw for worst case scenario.
If the attacker is super big size like Dwayne Johnson, it will be hard to counter
very informative guy, you know your stuff. i learn something everyday from you.
Sitting down was the funniest method 😂
Dont bother grabbing an arm trying to push it down, etc.
As soon as you can, grab a finger and pull it back. They'll let go really fast.
As a former bouncer, just grabbing a finger will negate a lot.
WOW I got body slammed and fractured my elbow. I wish I could have watched this video before even though I fought in the Marine Corp I left my guard down and should have never given up. Thanks for the video 👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks for your service 🫡
@@Selfdefensegoat thank you for your recognition and helpful videos 👍🏼
@@josedaniel4725 that’s what I’m here for
The very first time I did not see the crash test dummy :P and thought you guys were crazy ! :P
Yep and it really works too....
Nothing beats real world experience.
Reminds me of a lady who got body slammed by a Jogger.. for her purse. He broke her back and she’s paralyzed, believe he’s out on bail too…
That’s infuriating to hear
That first arm grab would’ve been a Steven Segal 😂 arm snapping move !😮. 😅😂
Or judo chop
How tall is this guy
He looks like a giant compared to door and assistants
I've been watching your advice for years and it makes sense. May I request for materials where you're the opponent who's the bigger person in the situation. I've been struggling to relate and apply what you show for myself.
Because I imagine that these techniques you share only work if I'm the bigger person. Respectfully providing feed back. I by all means Respect your work and practice.
Everything I teach works for the smaller CS bigger opponent. I just don’t have bigger uke’s. Thanks for watching
@Self Defense with Kevin Goat
Thank you for the response 🙏
Are you able to train your partners to use the techniques on you so we can visually see how it works on bigger opponents? It would be even more helpful if possible.
@@B0DAL It slows down the teaching process tremendously. I’m working on getting a larger opponent but it’s hard to find someone my size or bigger who’s free to film weekly.
@Self Defense with Kevin Goat
I completely understand. Thanks for taking time to read my messages 🙏
If they do another self defense championship (I’m talking to you Rokas!) you should be invited.
Good luck practicing this.
good stuff, funny thing in the beginning when he slams the dummy haha it reminded me of benny hill when they would throw someone off a roof top and it would be a dummy then someone would get up and walk off, funny stuff, great video though.i used to get in tons of fights but now days you cant go around beating people up,they call the cops or carry guns and i got injured at work really bad so im looking to just end it quickly a chop to the carroded (sp) artery on the neck then follow up with blows to the jaw maybe a elbow or knee on his way down depending on his direction falling, god i use to love fighting.take it easy man
Well tbh you also got to have a good reaction time. These videos don't send the point home how fast these things can happen especially if you're into your phone
It's not enough to simply watch the video though it does help but to actually utilize this good information you need to practice it until it becomes muscle memory
How many martial art techniques do you train on?

Nice to learn a break fall techniques or roll out a fall to at least minimize the throw impact. THEN before that learn to prevent the throw like grip lock breaking stepping on the toe hard, groin kick from behind, Bambi roll to escape and reverse positions on opponent, even grabbing their wrist and spinning them away or roll them with you to the front, maybe do a standing leg switch( turn around grad their thigh to turn in front of them to escape) works even if they don't let go of their grip their arm will break.
0:13 'Oh, he turned around' face.
I always put someone in my peripheral if they walk up behind me, I don't care where I am.
Create the ultimate defense: Have a 50" waist! No man will dare lift you without a lever. You will wobble, but you will never truly fall in combat.
It's also good to gain an extra 100pounds and then lose it, so you have a lot of loose skin wich is hard to get a good grip on. The overweight, poor hygiene, loose skin defense is the most effective.
@@joostdriesens3984 Ah, the good ol' Blob Defense. Worked great for gladiators.
Great video my dude!!!!
Tip No. 1 to not getting body slammed: Transform into a mannequin.
1:40 That was my first thought. Just drop your weight, except I didn't think of literally sitting on the ground.
How do ya do that when they lock your arms with their wrap ??
The Sakuraba move, he broke Renzo's arm and tapped out Kevin Randleman with it....PrideFC
Getting to safety? Nah, i think ill just go ahead and apply that Kimura
I like your style
Is it possible to do a breakfall to reduce damage from the slam? Or would you just end up breaking your hand or fingers? Like what Fedor instinctively did when Randleman suplexed him.
You want to protect your head from hitting the ground more than anything.
You'd be better off clinching your skull with both arms than trying to break your fall with your arms. because, yes, you will more than likely break your arm in half.
Also, being slammed on your body really isn't that bad, as long as your head is ok.
Step #1. Ask you attacker to freeze so you can do all the fancy moves.
I thought that was DC in the background for a sec 😂
I found out from experience being a black belt teacher that people will come in to fight you and one guy came in and effortlessly hurled me pick me up in the air just like he did and as a counter I grabbed him in the eyes as I was falling I hope called my fingers and random into his eyes and I pulled them down with me using his eyes there is a counter for every attack not random I rammed my fingers into his eyes and always use that as a weapon to stabbing eyes it's good against people trying to get ahold of you remember we're not playing this is your life
Yes usually very effective but not against people on drugs
@@Selfdefensegoat yes very true people on drugs don't feel pain they can get shot many times five six times stabbed and it will still come after you just keep out of those situations is all I can say
@@stevensnake3008 yeah crazy world out there. Stay safe 👊🏼
Yes. No rules. We are animals. I'll scratch, I'll bite, and kick your balls. Hell, I'll kick your shin.
Even if it has everyone calling me a cheater or a sissy for the rest of my life. That's fine, I'll be that, but I'll also be the uninjured victor of my battles.
You "...I recognize the arms coming in..."
Me: Stop ✋ the bs
You don’t think that would happen?
i sure hope it's not Kyle who comes and grabs me from behind ☹
Right
Excuse me, let me turn around ,acknowledge your surpise attack and please give me time to put my phone away...ok, go ! smh...................lol
Suggestion lesson for something more practical if you're caught off guard because nobody is going to have perfect timing and people get flustered. Maybe a lesson on keeping your head safe on the way down.
Very difficult to do and a boring video 😂
Yes a break fall would help alot and maybe rolling out will reduce the impact. The best thing to do immediately is a Bambi roll to escape and reverse the back hold position before any throw can harm you.
another technique I did once when a large kid picked me up and I was already in the air and was about to slam me from behind is to grab him by the ear and pull it as you go down take the ear w you
hahaha I love the dummy .
I used to grab for there head and drop it sometimes worked and sometimes also smashed their chin on my head but like mention it doesn't always work . yes keep your head out of your phone and be alert of everything going on around you.
This is what I learned in Chinese kempo if someone too BIG to flip forward over your shoulders grabs you from behind, wrapping their arms around your arms and chest:
You drop down into a low horse stance, popping your butt out and flicking your shoulders forward with your hands on your quads and elbows facing out wide. That just loosened the hold.
Then, you turn to one side and can either place your leg behind his leg while elbowing the face or neck to trip or KO him, OR stomp the foot and elbow the body, preferably the liver or solar plexus. Now he has completely released you, if not KO'd on the ground.
If you didn't trip the leg, and the elbow didn't KO him and he's still standing, as you rise up from the squatted horse stance position, you strike with a back fist to the nose and a straight punch or hook to the throat.
Always aim for vital organs. Strike with power, precision, and with purpose. Check your surroundings. Get out of there.
Good luck.
Drop center of gravity, grab a two one, reach through and make a keylock, then pivot. Great job. But if a wrestler is attacking you on the street or in public, it's a shitty day. As he said, learn Jits.
Due to his size, he lacks the necessary experience to prevent a bigger guy from slamming him, particularly how to stop someone 50-100lbs heavier from slamming him from behind because dropping the weight will not be too effective.
How to not get body slammed:
Step 1: Be a fucking GIANT
1. No time to do such a thing
2. No waight to do such a thing.
3. Good night :)
Yes another Snake oil Master, i love it.
Great video.
When i was a kid in school from time to time as kids do they would jump on me from the back, the best way i found to stop this was that they always came off worse, they would jump on you and pull you down to the ground, they thought it was fun.
A simple but very effective move, one that just about anyone could do, even if you're walking.
Most people when they grab you are slightly off ballance, so i basically stepped slightly to one side and back into them bent my knees stuck my ass into them and leaned forward, often dropping to one knee all in one motion.
Quite often they would end up on the floor in a crumpled mess, and those that didn't, often stumbled enough for me to turn and face them.
I don't know where i got this from it was just something that came natural to me to do.
It stopped the kids jumping on my back.
I later took up judo for fun in my adult years.
It's quite surprising how a simple move can surprise someone not expecting it if they think they have the upper hand.
Can we just laugh at the fact that this guy is way bigger than the other two.
So I need some sort of bodyguard then. Sweet.
One thing to notice is that this will not work if you are busy looking at your phone. Stay off your phone and be aware of your surroundings.
Classic
Can I tell him to wait while I position myself and get ready to make these moves?
Yes that’s what we do in Canada
U need an agreement with ur opponent for that move
If you catch that wrist in time
Start sleeping at the office and walk your route in the morning so you are facing your attackers, with no warning and one-time only, discretely execute either a German suplex or electric chair suplex.
step 1. Be the Undertaker.
Key point ( for me ) ? ..... pay attention to your surroundings at all times and never be a phone zombie.
Under hooks and wizzies will always stop you from going airborne.
First scene guy lifts the other guy and throws a dummy on the ground 😆
Cool ass dude
Happens to me all the time
Start turning around more or have your back up to the wall 😂
move in another area
I mean I love these videos but I doubt if I would be able to use these effectively in such a situation.
You need to practice grappling with guys who are actively trying to take you down regularly for this to be of any use. But even a couple of months with a grappling art will make a huge difference for your sense of balance and reflexes.
I come out of nowhere and challenge him to stop my suplex Lol No wayyy
Tip number one. The 10 inches taller
Jokes aside this is very valuable for self defense.
Haha thanks for watching
never let another guy grab you from behind
unless he gives a good reach around.....
Being 6' tall and 400 lbs will prevent being body slammed in most cases.
