The airbrush over the earth mud splatter effect was a light bulb moment over my head like "Duh! That makes it so much easier!" I will highly recommend your videos.

I just tried the dried mud tech on a jagdpanther's wheels, it worked really well, better than I hoped. Cheers Miguel!

While this is interesting and nice, we never let our equipment get this bad. We farmed over 1200 acres in Michigan. My ole man had me wipe down the John Deere A everyday I used it. I used gasoline. Always had a shine and dirt wiped away. Never had a fire. We always performed maintenance and didn't have oil leaks. I guess it was our way. Anyway, good luck and interesting video. Yeah, I've seen some nasty equipment and just scatched my head in disbelief. Regards...

This is what I think whenever I watch someone weathering a WWII model on CZcams. They are overdoing it! I see the point of creating a burned-out wreck in a diorama, but WWII vehicles rarely survived long enough to get rusty and worn out, still the models look like they have been abandoned for ten years. And the vehicles that DID survive until the end of the war, was usually maintained with Preussian discipline

When I was a kid our family in Sydney had a market garden and we had two tractors one similar to this for ferrying chicken manure to be laid before the larger tractor ploughed the vegetable beds. The smaller tractor was WORSE than this.

I have 2 question on this. the first is our you doing this over a gloss varnish or a matt. Alos once you complete this all this can you seal it without darkening the colours of the pigment? thanks

In one of his workshops mig jimenez said he does not varnish the whole model because different effects/materials have different properties eg. matt satin or glossy. covering everything with a varnish will take away the different properties and make is less realistic.
