- In this video you will learn how to play Dune Imperium.
I love the Dune books by Frank Herbert and more recently Denis Villeneuve’s gorgeous film. For me Dune Imperium brings this vision together in a really cool game. I love how it’s not that hard to learn but complex to master and how you feel this great tension and competition with other players from start to finish.
It’s a fantastic game, balancing deck building and worker placement beautifully in a game that will keep you playing over and over.
Board games are really fun, but learning the rules can be a challenge. We aim to explain the rules quickly and easily so you get to play faster while giving you all the tips you need to get better.

Looking for a couple of new games. Can you please recommend 2-3 of your favorite. Would be great to have a video yearly on ones you suggest
It was definitely in the plan and I got super busy that I didn't manage to do it. It's hard, there are so many games I love :) But some that come to mind and I particularly enjoy are Gaia Project, Great Western trail with the Expansion, Rails to the North, Viticulture, Blood Rage, Cascadia for something light. Thank you for the suggestion, and will plan to do a video with some recommendations.

I have a question. I have 3 persuasion points and I have only one 2 persuasion point card in the imperial cards and the rest are more than 4 points (which I cannot afford) What happens to my one extra point I have after I pick up the card that costs 2?

5:17 the more you spend, the worse is the deal:
2🌶️->6💰 = 3💰/🌶️
3🌶️->8💰 = 2.67💰/🌶️
4🌶️->10💰 = 2.5💰/🌶️
5🌶️->12💰 = 2.4💰/🌶️
But it takes only one turn to make the deal, so it's a tradeoff.
7:13 I don't think it's possible to win without the third agent against experienced players in the base game. In the Ix expansion, this is another story (and that's one of the reason they replaced and extended the base board actions)
A good tip is also to take care of our deck. Not buying useless cards just because we have remaining influence points to spend, and trying to destroy weak cards like daggers. The Ix expansion gives more deck management cards for this.
Hello again, yes, unit wise it's a worse deal; I think you've said it better than I did, you do it in one turn rather than a few turns.
I think in the base game, there are games where you can win with 2 agents, depending on the cards and leader you play, but maybe you are right, it also depends on the level of expertise of all players.
