Now that was a professional crew with all the right equipment! Well done gentlemen!
Send it to Pakistani Truck Repair. Those guy would make a new frame and install it for about $8.00
YEP
and next thing you know , you are death , cause? frame failed... ( the moral of the comment) "cheap always cost more"
@FEC Multimedia These guys are from Holland.
The cleanest lathe. Cause it never gets oil!
Send it to Turkey and you will get back it with new engine, with new chassis on the bill almost same with Lory price ( in reality some of studds stolen and badly repaired)
Good work... The Robot Painter for the trailers sure is good.... Consistent paint application for best results.
Dissembling body parts is the best way.... So many companies now days just mask off and spray leaving poor results
With quality tools you get the job done right the first time... Thanks for sharing the video
Hello, I am a CZcamsr mania living in Korea.I happened to see your CZcamsr. As a car-loving flesh cancer, I praise you for your repair.

I would have liked to seen a reinforcement plate bolted inside the frame extending to the fore and aft cross members. Needs something to make up for this weakened, bent and straightened frame section in my opinion.
turbo 14; very true indeed
I miss an importent part of this job at 6:37...The cutting, welding and eventual heat treating process.
That's their bussiness secret. 😅

Pretty impressive what can be done when you have all the right toys. Unfortunately they skipped a part I would like to have seen.

Thanks for cutting out the part were you work harden the steel and it becomes brittle. That area needs at the minimum plating.
This was a good work from professional people! I sometime do this too in my workshop here in Stockholm but i cut out the profile and weld a new one as it must be done! Using 400 Hardox!

I guess that the mercedes truck industry themselves wont b able to do such precision work to repair such damage chassis... awesome work.. thanks to the technicians and the video uploader
they are more interested in to sel you a new truck.
U r right bro
Que buen trabajo. .

i wanna see episodes of these types of rebuilds
Nice ! Super Work !
Nice jig and accompaning tooling , she went up nice and straight again , how strong is it now after it was torn and damaged on both sides and in the same position on the chassis , how did it bend in the first place what force did it take to do this just woundering , i worked alot on MAN DAF Volvo and mercs with heavy haulage but never saw a chassis go like this
It just felt from the cliff, exactly the same way as Jimi Heselden's Segway, he let the dog walker pass....:))))
Excellent experience -& Performance
Brilliant man I love you
Thx for cutting out the part where you strain out the frame completely..
exactly!! lame.
High tensile steel welded and dressed. Mechanical properties considerably reduced by heat. No compensatory reinforcement. A posh botch. Check out Pakistani Truck channel for better engineered repairs with almost no workshop equipment.
@@sideshowbob5237 Exactly!!!!!
Stand well back, sometimes you have to twist a long frame 1m to yield so it returns to its correct shape
Trade secrets perhaps? All in all they edited the most critical part of the video, perhaps the reason why we all watched the video to the end!
Parabens, excelente trabalho!
After 15 days comeback again

yes say thank you
Hahaha serwis x😁d
Good job!
Have seen this and worse repaired many times, it’s a tried and tested repair, European truck chassis are not normally very high tensile, not like US style which can’t be welded or drilled.
I worked for many years in a workshop where we repaired 100’s, some needed reinforcements where the damage was caused buy operating conditions but the majority did not.
This looked like accident damage where the trailers been rolled bending the frame in half, it’s difficult to show all the repair which takes time, it will have been pushed, jacked and pulled beyond yield to settle back at original position, induction heating is used to relive stress, that 40t G-clamp is a mean piece of kit and will square anything back into shape.
This truck will be back on the road for many years to come, it will not bend or crack which many have commented.
The equipment is Josam of Sweden who specialize in accident/straitening repair, have a look at their website
How days you take to complete this truck chassis
Impressionante o trabalho desses profissionais, muito bom, parabéns... bravo.🤝🏿👏
Straight to auctions to be sold before it bends again
Thank you for not showing us the most important part of the video, wasted my time!
dickhead
My face in final video: 😐😐😐
So interesting. Arent these frames heat-treated though? How is that achieved post-assembly?
You didnt weld in a c channel scab on the frame? You just straightened it and left it with fatigued metal?
What's up with the air line hanging loose, off the air tank, at 7:35?
Professional beautiful real work
Wawww se jeant thanke you very match vive la llmagne dutz aljerie 👍👍👍👍💪💪💪💪
" It was nothing, frame just bended from humidity. We've just applied some heat and it is straight again" :)))))

Good job But I replace the frame ....... because one day........
good work .well done
Not a huge truck(ing) expert... is it actually legal to use a truck that has been (essentially) split in half anywhere near Europe? I mean regardless of it being fixed or not.
how the rail repaired?
Do you really welded the damaged frame together again?
Yes, why wouldn't they? A proper weld is stronger than the original metal.
@@Skoda130 weld mb, but surroundings of the weld not
Thats now the biggest C clamp I have ever seen.
Mükemmel 👌 👏👏👏👏
...so, what happened?
Nice job. Ready for export lol.
Że takie uszkodzenie dało się naprawić 👍👍👍👍💪
White T-shirt and jeans...nice :-)
Why cant give a new chassis for the truck, how far will the old chassis be stronger,
Chassis supposed to stand any wear and tear, moreover any kind of impact, but this chassis condition is horrible to ,
What was the impact on chassis
And the stress filled frame lived happy ever after?? Great work but...
Stress filled? You mean work-hardened. The frame was under stress AFTER it was bent. Straighting it out relieved stress, but caused work-hardening due to bending the metal back and forth. It also thins the metal along any and all bends as well, further weakening it along any fold lines.
Your country is fully equipped with technology equipment. and the workers' hands are also good
Why not replace the main bars frame not good work
Butt Leo
It must be cheap as possible, Plaster and paint on it. Job done... Export, no garanty.
How does one even manage to break a truck?
Perfect work
Please, what country is this place, thanks. Amazing, job
The netherlands
they didn't show how the two main chassis rails were changed from 6:12 to 6:43
and after you fix that frame the truck will be sold to Estern Europe as a perfect Dutch truck ;)
It is exported, ACTROS 2546 LS VLA euro 5 2008 to middle east, afrika south america how knows.
They will say...it was from an old woman...and then complain if that truck with east european register is again part of an accident........about bad technical conditions of those trucks

Pakistanis would have built a new frame from plate hammer and a drill in less time
Super good job
that was so awesome
As much use as a chocolate ashtray needs new chassis rails death trap !!!
It has to be TUV approved, they welded the cut pieces and straightened the rest, just like we do to the cars on a Car-o-liner. Straighten out the chassis thru pulling.
that was just a band aid solution , the frame is no longer sound and should have been scrapped , welding it just weakened it even more , that is why after all of the cross members are welded in , the frame is re-heat treated for tensile strength .
Why was the truck manufacturer not build the frame a little more thicker
