Huina 573 Top Race TR 212 Radio Controled Dump Truck Modifications Part 3

- Modifying Huina RC dump truck part 3 using WPL B-16, 1/16 scale 6 wheel drive (6x6) RC military truck undercarriage with high torque 370 motor and 2 speed gearbox also used Fly Sky FS-i6S RC radio and 10 channel receiver, micro servo for steering, micro actuator servo to lift dump bed, micro servo to shift gear box, 30A Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) and electronic switch to turn lights on and off. Huina dump truck came with hard plastic tires/wheels and no suspension and would get stuck on almost any surface also the dump bed would not go up high enough to empty the box. With the use of the WPL 6x6 undercarriage, soft rubber tires, independent suspension, high torque motor with 2 speed gearbox this truck can handle most any terrain and any load. With the long stroke micro actuator servos long travel the dump bed will raise high enough to empty the box. The wheel base between the Huina dump truck and the WPL B-16 army truck were almost identical but there where a few differences between the frames / body's making for an interesting modification and machining an aluminum spacer plate to accommodate these differences and the strength to attach the micro actuator servo anchor for support to lift the dump bed. All and all this was a very fun modification and update build.

Thank you for the in-depth video, gave me an insight as to how I’ll modify my next Hunia dump truck, thinking of using aluminum rails I have. Might need to make cross beams but it’s a good place to begin. Guess I’ll have to make a video of what I do. Thank you for sharing.
One comment I'd like to make is that I keep mentioning about either the divider plate or spacer plate and I wanted to post that in reality this is an adapter plate to merry the WPL frame to the upper half of the Huina frame! Cheer; Markus

Thank you again for the disassemble and walk through of your mods. Again though I’d ask, what you’d charge to make a spacer plate, as I don’t have a way to make one, nor do the milling. Also the spacers and mounting bracket, where does one get those items. I have a second dump truck, but I haven’t started the conversion process as yet, your spacer plate, or adapter plate, would make the process a lot easier, as would the front adapter plate.
What are the specs on those linear actuators and where can I buy some I am doing the exact same thing as you are to my truck and I have really been scratching my chin about that function
How do you lock in the 6 wheel drive?
By the way I found that the flysky fsi6x is more desirable for remote control vehicles because the throttle can be converted to self centering by buying a simple little kit that cost about 10 bucks but takes about a month. The radio transmitter being programmable you can go into it and set the throttle for center center

Doctor who Inna in the past hated it and gave it to my 8-year-old grandson for his birthday, you cannot find a decent RC dump truck so I bought the military transporter just because of the suspension I thought it had proportional controls but it did not so in my thoughts I also then went and purchased the hyena dump truck again and did the very same thing you are doing except that I was at a deadlock on mounting that bed frame to that,. I thought it out in got it on there the best way I could figure out how don't have the ground clearance I would like to have but your idea with the metal frame brackets makes my work look like child's Play, I am going to redo it in the fashion in which new constructed yours. I would like to know the part number and where you got the lift mechanizm
