  • Learning some essential features of the Roland Juno-X. Can you record MIDI parts played from an i-Arpeggio scene into your DAW? Can you record the MIDI separate or all on one track? I explore and demonstrate these on Logic Pro with some pretty cool vibes from the Juno-X.

Great video, thank you. Can you please tell me how you set up the Juno-X to sync to Logic's tempo? I have tried to adjust the Temp Src setting in System settings but it doesn't seem to make any difference. Thanks!

I am sorry. It's been a bit since I've created this video. My best advice is to comb through the Juno-X documentation to find out how to set it as a "slave." It's in the settings.

Thanks very much, they are not French tuto for export the total scene midi track in a daw, it's very similar to do that with Cubase.
in some days i try to make that on french language and to specify in the future video that it's come from you :)

I was looking for a midi cable for my Juno X and having trouble. Behind the Juno is a 'Computer Memory - USB' section. Do I only need a cable to plug from there to my laptop? I was focused on the Midi In/Out ports on the far-right instead of the one port on the far-left. SOS :(

You can connect via USB with the "Computer" port, or you can connect using the 5-pin MIDI in and out ports if you have a MIDI interface for your computer. So depending on which port you use, you'll need a USB B to your computer cable, or a 5-pin Din MIDI cable (or two).

Unfortunately, I am probably done making videos for the Juno-X for now. I have covered the basics, but now I am focused on actually using the Juno-X in Logic to create some songs. We will see how that goes.

I feel your pain. I am sorry, but I don't work with FL Studio so that's not something I can do. Hopefully there will be something soon.
