EastSide RC here I for one absolutely LOVED this video it was fantastic brother Rocky! Also huge shoutout to Momma Thunder for her steady hand at filming this masterpiece! These two trucks are by far the best in the Electric world! Now I will say this one thing, its about time someone made a full metal cased servo for these animals!! Thank you for making a nice longer vid brother so much action it still felt short! Love you and your family my bro!!!

Hey rocky this gotta be your best video yet well done traxxas should compliment you on your durability test on both trucks, my favorite would be the XRT all day long but I love my XMAXX just as much , remember when I told you traxxas is coming out with a 1/5 scale EREVO brushless edition, well I was pretty close the XRT was a better idea from traxxas ha ha thanks your friendly neighborhood Doorman william from NYC forgettaboutit 👊 😀

I love the xrt more and more with every video in seeing of it. Super durable out of the box.. And it looks sexy as hell! And it seems to handle the high speed gearing straight out of the box. I can't think of many rtrs if any that can. Love the videos dude! Keep em coming.
I have been having a problem with my xmaxx it has loose tie bars on the lower arms and the truck starts shaking when driving I have no idea how to fix this if anyone can help
Sparks at 7:05 maybe that's when the gears went? Seemed to be making a noise after that wonky landing but either way what an absolute beast!! I never thought a rtr would take that much out of the box. Great comparison, I've been dousing the plastic with Seafoam Deep Creep lubricant and the plastic is very flexible and has been taking the abuse for 2 years with minimal stress and breakage. Yoo. That was wicked man! That new xrt might have a slight edge on the trusty xmaxx king. Are you running the widemaxx kit on the xmaxx or are those just the hd orange arms? Both trucks look about the same width. Also how come you don't have a m2c chassis brace on the xmaxx?
Thanks bro! I am running the regular HD arms / that’s my preference for the Xmaxx! As for the chassis brace I don’t run it because it adds extra weight to the truck. ⚡️🚀🏆 thanks for watching !
Love them both! I honestly felt a little bad for the XRT that was a BEAT DOWN. Excellent test though! I have 100% faith that the XRT is a beast of a basher, up there with the best.
Great video as always buddy, XMaxx & XRT what a top pair of hardcore trucks Traxxas have produced, I still have the very first 6s XMaxx which still runs perfectly fine although i am considering putting a Max6 in it & also a Max6 in my later 8s XMaxx. I have placed my order for the new XRT but unfortunately it looks like it won’t be over here in the UK until January 🤔 Keep up your great videos mate & stay safe 🤜🏼🤛🏼
Have you done any shock upgrades on the xrt? I agree these things can take a pounding but that front end bottoms out easy (makes me cringe). Just wondering what your thoughts are on making this thing land smoother

🌩🌩🌩🌩Dude, Bro!!! That's Traxxas abuse! How dare you beat up on those poor girls like that at the skatepark. Hahahaha! Lol. 🤣😆🤣😆🤣❤❤ Omg. Bro, both those trucks took some serious abuse at the skatepark and off the death ramp. How are they not in hundreds of pieces, dude??? Some of those landings looked and sounded HORRIBLE! Those are two of the most beautiful almost-bulletproof beasts I've ever seen. WHAT did you put in the XMAXX to make it seem so unbreakable. It has to be the trained driver behind the "wheel" that has faith in his girls to pull off such seemingly impossible jumps and stunts?? They both seemed to do incredible! But Traxxas has got to come up with a better replacement wing mount for the XRT. that's its 1 serious weakness. The breakages were expected on the XRT; She WAS slapping on concrete. Concrete, brother! And those were some nasty landings. I'm not surprised by the breakages on the XRT. She had to break some time. The plus side is: Time for M2C to come up with some nice upgrades for her! She needs some shiny new jewelry, too!! Lol.🌩🌩🌩🌩 Great video by the way, Rocky! The Xmaxx and XRT were AWESOME to watch. Thanks for all your great videos just a heads up my servo went out on the xrt and sent it to Traxxas for warranty service and ask if they would upgrade it and they did the 2085x kit for 40 bucks and sent it to me just a heads up thanks for videos
So great 👍💪👍. Till now i dont have a traxxas at home. I was planing, some time, i will order one. But i dont know, Xmaxx or XRT? 😢 I like the Look and the handling a bit more from the XRT. But still i dont know whats the right 😅😂😂. At the end, Maybe we will see whats the price i would get one. Both are not cheap and i am not rich 😥😖

i have been out of the RC truck game for a while but would like to get back in with electric. my last go around with trucks was a nitro HPI savage. i loved that thing. you could beat the piss out of that thing. question for anyone. battery life? i see that these trucks take 2 batteries. how long do they last. and should i get 4 batteries to keep a couple on hand. thanks for any help.
Hey bro, thanks for reaching out. Yeah the HPI Savage was an awesome truck for sure! These batteries work good and put out massive power! They can last pretty long depending on what milliamp rating the batteries have. Mine last about 25 mins of hard run time.💪🏆🏆🏆🔥🚀🚀

Like comparing a Ford F-350 to. Mustang GT-500 . That said They are two of the toughest R/C vehicles ever produced, with minimal mods needed like RPM’s rear hub carriers and hinge pins, a non monkey metal spur gear,,BUT you can kick the c-rap out of them and do the upgrades when any of those things fail. Parts are very reasonably priced for the XRT & X-MAXX the cost of parts to fix my 8S Kraton a few weeks ago was stupid.
I love that skate park, I don’t bash there really I just skate get really thirsty and walk across the street to the sonic or dollar general LOl Texas all day

Fantastic Bash here brother. Really impressed with the XRT so far for a big RC she is more durable than an Xmaxx out the box for SURE! And that's saying a lot, you don't have to do all those little tweeks like you need with the Xmaxx, just a Max6/Gears and she good.... I wish I could make this happen but not in the cards for a XRT right now.
@@pstarxxx78 yes! They are very user friendly and also has noise cancelling ( which we desperately needed with our wind) and night vision mode. I still have not mastered it …. I’m a novice , camera slave haha. Hopefully I will get it dialed. It was so cold the night we filmed and my hands were shaking. I will agree to disagree with the XRT. It is way too low profile for bashing. In our group 3 people bought them and all 3 have gone back to x maxx when we go bashing. The xrt is stable and fast but it isn’t faster then an x maxx with similar gearing. Put a widemaxx kit and lower suspension a little and you have an XRT basically but more reliable. The wing mount is hilarious and even aftermarket ones break with one hit near the wing. For people watching this.. save your $1000 and keep your x maxx

i have been out of the RC truck game for a while but would like to get back in with electric. my last go around with trucks was a nitro HPI savage. i loved that thing. you could beat the piss out of that thing. question for anyone. battery life? i see that these trucks take 2 batteries. how long do they last. and should i get 4 batteries to keep a couple on hand. thanks for any help.
Hey bro, thanks for reaching out. Yeah the HPI Savage was an awesome truck for sure! These batteries work good and put out massive power! They can last pretty long depending on what milliamp rating the batteries have. Mine last about 25 mins of hard run time.💪🏆🏆🏆🔥🚀🚀

Like comparing a Ford F-350 to. Mustang GT-500 . That said They are two of the toughest R/C vehicles ever produced, with minimal mods needed like RPM’s rear hub carriers and hinge pins, a non monkey metal spur gear,,BUT you can kick the c-rap out of them and do the upgrades when any of those things fail. Parts are very reasonably priced for the XRT & X-MAXX the cost of parts to fix my 8S Kraton a few weeks ago was stupid.
I love that skate park, I don’t bash there really I just skate get really thirsty and walk across the street to the sonic or dollar general LOl Texas all day

Fantastic Bash here brother. Really impressed with the XRT so far for a big RC she is more durable than an Xmaxx out the box for SURE! And that's saying a lot, you don't have to do all those little tweeks like you need with the Xmaxx, just a Max6/Gears and she good.... I wish I could make this happen but not in the cards for a XRT right now.

@@pstarxxx78 yes! They are very user friendly and also has noise cancelling ( which we desperately needed with our wind) and night vision mode. I still have not mastered it …. I’m a novice , camera slave haha. Hopefully I will get it dialed. It was so cold the night we filmed and my hands were shaking. We are total wimps here in south Texas when it’s cold 🥶

you know how much vibration will be caused by the bent drive shaft? you know what those vibrations will do to your car? it wouldnt last 4 years
I will agree to disagree with the XRT. It is way too low profile for bashing. In our group 3 people bought them and all 3 have gone back to x maxx when we go bashing. The xrt is stable and fast but it isn’t faster then an x maxx with similar gearing. Put a widemaxx kit and lower suspension a little and you have an XRT basically but more reliable. The wing mount is hilarious and even aftermarket ones break with one hit near the wing. For people watching this.. save your $1000 and keep your x maxx
If it didn’t strip a pinion or spur it wouldn’t be a Traxxas…..
